We will pick you up in Lisbon’s central square and we will travel by comfortable air-conditioned minivan to Sintra, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal, located about 45 minutes away. At the colorful Pena Palace, we will guide you through the most iconic balconies, terraces, facades, and viewpoints, sharing the history and best photo spots. Note: We visit all the famous balconies, terraces, facades and the most beautiful views only. We will also explore Sintra’s charming streets, taste a traditional pastry, and try homemade cherry liquor.

Our day begins at 08:30 at Av. da Liberdade 9, 1250-139 Lisboa, Portugal , ride in air-conditioned minivan You will meet with your guide there, we send the reminder 12 hours before the tour
We will explore the famous colorful Pena Palace, one of the most iconic castles in Portugal, where we will show you our favorite spots and the best viewpoints By following our knowledgeable guide, you will enjoy a smooth experience with skip-the-line access, avoiding up to 2 hours of waiting in queues under the sun or rain During the tour, we spend around 2 hours exploring the most important exterior areas, including colorful facades, balconies, terraces, and the most beautiful viewpoints, while sharing detailed history and interesting facts, as well as taking beautiful photos of you Please note that we do not visit the INTERIOR of the palace due to long queues inside and outside Be AWARE of the steep 10-minute uphill walk to the entrance. If you have mobility issues, a shuttle can be arranged; please inform your guide in advance

Things to note: This tour takes you to the palace and Sintra. 1. You will need to purchase your own tickets to the palace. 2. You do not see the inside of the palace only the exterior. It is also windy near the top. 3. You get time about 60-75 minutes in Sintra. It was crowded with tourists and tour groups. 4. Go in the morning, as temperatures will be cooler and traffic will increase as the day unfolds. This tour was average. If you just want Sintra and the palace a half day away was ideal.
Uogo was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly! The cherry liquor and pastry were a great way to end the tour!

Anil, our guide, was professional, highly knowledgeable and a great driver. He had good energy and shared fun historical facts about the area. Pena Palace and Sintra are must-see spots and I highly recommend booking a tour instead of dealing with logistics directly especially if traveling with older parents or children.

This half day tour to Sintra town & palace was stress free and just the right amount of time for us. It was a small group tour, in a modern Mercedes van with Aircon & our guide, Firat, was friendly & professional & made everyone feel comfortable. Sintra & palace can get VERY busy but our guide knew all the tricks to bypass the crowds. We received great info & got some free time in both spots to enjoy on our own. Cost wise, there were a number of cheaper Sintra tours on offer, but in our opinion this one was well worth it for the ease and comfort of the day & not feeling 'herded' around in big crowds in the heat.

We had our tour with Olcay and Paulo (driver). It happened to be raining hard with my two toddler nephews and Olcay and Paulo were wonderful. They helped pivot their usual tour to accommodate the weather and our tour. They were communicative, on time and very knowledgeable. We’d definitely recommend this trip. If you can do a full day, it’d be worth it but this was all the time we had available for this excursion.

Read ALL THE FINE PRINT; the visit to the Pena Palace is "included" but not really, as you go there, but you must pay for your ticket. But then what is the $130 for? Transport and tastings! 🤷
We opted for the 1/2 day visit, which was plenty. Our guide, Pedro, was wonderful! He was very informative, a true historian. He provided insight to all aspects of the visit, and included additional information that enhanced the experience. Highly recommend!

Great way to see the highlights of Sintra and the surrounding neighborhood! We spent a nice day with a small group making it more intimate and our tour guide was attentive to all our questions.
