Our guided tour will take you to local shops, markets, and hidden gems, where you can browse unique souvenirs, and interact with friendly locals. You'll get a glimpse of daily life in Japan as you walk through the streets lined with traditional Japanese shops, and hear the sounds of local merchants selling their wares. This is an authentic Japanese Cooking Experience! Our experienced and friendly instructor will guide you through each step of the cooking process, providing tips and tricks to help you recreate the dishes at home. You'll have the opportunity to make popular Japanese dishes such as roll sushi, deep-fried chicken. Our cooking class is suitable for all skill levels. We keep class sizes small to ensure personalized attention, so easy to ask questions and interact with the instructor. We also have a vegetarian menu available.

Ichiho was awesome! He met us at the market, shopped for ingredients, put us in a cab to his home and the 3 of us cooked fried chicken, sushi rolls, and rolled egg side dish. The local grocery shopping and Japanese cooking class 3+ hour experience was very informative. Ichiho led us through a number of specialty shops, where he purchased select vegetables, chicken, tuna and salmon, so that we could prepare Japanese battered fried chicken, teriyaki chicken, tamagoyaki and sushi together in his apartment kitchen, and enjoy this food for lunch. He was very cordial, and welcoming. For visiting Californians, it was a journey into a world very different from our own. My wife and I would highly recommend engaging Ichiho for a similar experience.

We started off at the local market to get the ingredients, Ichiho was very nice and guided us through some of the history of the locals and the food. After shopping we went to his home for a private class. He was very patient, we made sushi 🍣, teriyaki chicken, and Japanese fried chicken. Every thing was absolutely delicious, we highly recommend.
