An excellent tour. Our tour guide, Jose Maria Santos, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, shared a lot of local customs and information and moved us around the streets safely and efficiently. Lots of trail roads so we got to see a lot more than you would on a bus, taking the main roads. Highly recommended.
Despite the bad weather, the trip was worth it. We learned a lot about the island. Our guide Jose was excellent.
We liked very much, Mr. Zeca very helpful and professional. I recommend!
Jose was friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely a must do !!! It was great to be on back roads.
José shared his love for Sao Miguel throughout the half day tour. Visiting Lagoa Fogo, Cabrito waterfall and sorroundings were lovely. He is a very knowledgeable guide (fauna, geology, history etc) and tailored the tour to our wishes. Can only recommend traveling with him.
Tour very interesting thanks to José's explanations. I even adapted the tour so that we could see volcanic activity, which we had not been able to see the previous day due to bad weather.
The guide Jose was so knowledgeable and friendly! We had a wonderful time seeing some breathtaking views, especially the caldera!
Such a fun way to see this beautiful island! Jose knew so much about the island and the things we saw. Highly recommend any of his tours!
Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a very interesting and educational experience. At the end of the tour we asked Jose to suggest a good sea food restaurant. He not only recommended a wonderful restaurant but called in advance to make sure they were open and dropped us off at their doorstep. He definitely went the extra mile.
An excellent tour. Jose was the perfect driver/guide; knowledgeable, professional, patient and caring. His understanding of his Archipelago and particularly his Island was immense. Thank you, if we return here there is only one guide to use for personal tours (away from the larger cruise ship tours) and we will certainly use tripadvisor/viator for future tours, best wishes stan & lesley lamb
