Haga Sightseeing Tour

Description
Haga is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Gothenburg. The pedestrian street Haga Nygata is lined with well-preserved houses, many in the characteristic Gothenburg style called "landshövdingehus" with one floor in brick and the rest in wood. Each iconic house and building have a wealth of historic significance and during this tour we will enlighten you in some of the best ones. During the 1900th century the entire neighbourhood used to be a slum with a seedy reputation although you would never know it today as Haga is by far the city’s hippest area with no shortage of cafes, delicatessens and independent shops guaranteed to charm you in the most Swedish of ways. Our local guide will navigate you to the must see places, the hidden gems, the local hotspots and give you a proper introduction into the most iconic neighbourhood of Gothenburg.

We are only in Gothenburg for a short time, and our guide took us through Haga and the viewpoint from where we could see the city. In 2 hours she has told extensively about the origin of Haga to what it is today. We really enjoyed walking through this part of Gothenburg with this knowledgeable and spontaneous lady.
Very informative and friendly guide. I learnt a lot about the Haga and Gothenburg history. The pace was too fast for my wife, so although there were frequent stops, little allowance was made for a slower walker.
Guide Kalina is super cool! In her story she takes you, not only, into the history of Haga, but also of the rest of the world. Full of knowledge and facts, of course about Haga, but also about Swedish customs and tips about the archipelago islands.
Our tour guide was excellent! She was very informative, kind and friendly. It was wonderful to learn some of the history of Gothenburg and the Haga area.
Haga was quaint And full of charm and hidden history! Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and had personal experiences to add to the tour. We loved it!
Kalina, our tour guide, was great. We learned as much about all aspects of Swedish life as we did about the historical neighborhood.
Sarah our guide was extremely informative and more than willing to answer any questions we had, even if they were a little off the subject we were being told about. It was only my wife and me so that made it even more special.
The guide never showed. Got the money back smoothly, but our city walk unfortunately never happened as we had planned for.
I booked this fully expecting others on this tour. Lucky me, it was just me. I learned so much not just about Haga but about Gothenburg, the people of Sweden and its history. She was really friendly and knowledgeable about so much. Gave me some recommendations for places to get some great seafood before I leave.
Our tour guide was smart, personable, and interesting. Haga is a beautiful area with a rich history. I would recommend visiting while in Gothenburg.
