Itinerary
1. The Siq (60 mins) : Start at Petra Visitor Center and walk down the Outer Siq. You'll pass the Djinn Blocks and the Obelisk Tomb, continuing for about 1.2 km through the stunning sandstone canyon. 2. The Treasury (20 mins) : The Siq opens to reveal Petra’s iconic Treasury. Take in the remarkable rock-cut facade, snap photos, and listen to local Bedouin guides. 3. Street of Facades & Royal Tombs (40 mins) : After the Treasury, walk past the Nabataean Theatre and explore the Royal Tombs, including the Urn Tomb, Silk Tomb, Corinthian Tomb, and Palace Tomb. 4. Colonnaded Street & Great Temple (30 mins) : Descend onto the Colonnaded Street, passing the ruins of the Nymphaeum and the Great Temple. 5. Qasr al-Bint (30 mins) : End at Qasr al-Bint (Temple of Dushara), one of the few free-standing structures in Petra, marking the conclusion of the main archaeological zone.
