The tour begins with hotel pickup or a meeting at the Petra Visitor Center near the ATM. From there, you will start your journey by golf cart from the Visitor Center, traveling through the Siq (Canyon ) toward Petra’s most iconic landmark. You will stop in front of the Treasury, the most famous site in Petra, where you will have around 20 minutes to explore, take photos, and hear the story behind this remarkable monument. Afterward, there will be a short 5-minute walk to reach the second golf cart. The tour continues as you explore more of Petra’s highlights, with informative commentary from your local professional guide. Along the way, you will stop for about 15 minutes to relax and enjoy tea. After the tour, you will return to the Treasury, wait for the golf cart, and ride back to the Petra Visitor Center. From there, you will be transferred back to your hotel, ending the experience comfortably and smoothly.

Amazing tour! If you want to save 1.5 hours of walking this was a great tour. It was around 2 hours and we cut it short and it could have been longer. Great way to see everything except the Monestary.
Bassil was an excellent tour guide. He gave us an idea how to enjoy our stay in Petra. Thanks to his guide, not only adults but my 5 yrs daughter learned a lot about this ancient city. Highly recommended.
This was my first time to Petra and I've definitely been told about all the walking. Well, I found the cart to the Treasury and back is definitely the way to go. It was a quick trip, but it allowed my parents who would have struggled with the terrain the ability to see AND hear the history from our excellent guide Bassil. He not only gave us the general layout of Petra, but added and pointed out the extras I would definitely have overlooked. I'll be asking him to guide again for sure!
