This 2 hour and 45-minute tour includes 2.5 hours traveling through the waters of Icy Strait – home to a wide array of wildlife including Orcas (killer whales), Stellar sea lions, sea otters, Harbor seals, Dall’s porpoise, and the magnificent humpback whale. Keep an eye out for brown bears and Sitka Black-tailed deer meandering the shoreline, and the noble Bald eagle perched on tree-tops.
Whale watching in Icy Strait can take you to Point Adolphus, the world-renowned spot for extraordinary whale viewing. On this whale watching cruise, you will visit the most active playground of humpback whales in Southeast Alaska, where whale sightings are guaranteed! - Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger does not need wheelchair onboard.
- Care Cart transportation from Ship's gangway to Excursion Hub for passengers with mobility issues. Plan for 20 min extra time for this service.
- Operates in all weather conditions - except small craft advisory. Please dress in layers with a wind/rain jacket, hat and gloves.

The captain was both knowledgeable and skilled at finding wildlife. Not only did we see several whales, but also a bear along the shore line.

What an incredible experience. I highly recommend. The tour had only 30 people and there was plenty of space. Easy to see around the entire boat. Patrick and Paul were our guides. They were very knowledgeable and their interaction with us made the excursion that much better.

Paul and Patrick were amazing! We saw so many sea lions, eagles and whales it was hard to count. The whales came right up to our boat and I saw 3 eagles in one tree. By far our best excursion of the trip.
The water was a little rough but that can't be helped. Very good knowledge of where the best viewing would be.
We were amazed! A must do with this company. Naturalist was Paul and didnt catch the Capt's name but what an amazing trip!!! Whales, eagles, puffins, otters, sea lions an BEARS!!!! MOM AND 3 CUBS. Definately use this company!!! The 2 of them made us all feel welcome answered questions and made sure we were safe and comfortable. They went out of their way to give us a good show. Barb H.
We absolutely loved it!!! They were able to find many whales and were so informative. We saw so many sealions and eagles as well. At the very end of our time a pod of about 6 humpbacks came close to the boat, rolling and playing. It was fantastic!
Amazing whale experience- saw 7 humpback whales including Wedgie who was singing! We saw bald eagles, sea lions, sea otters and even a bear.
