Would need 5 days to complete to all

Every tour takes 2-3 hours and really sucks up all the time since everything closes at 5pm. Not worth the money because I barely did any of the activities and I had three days

RECOMMEND

It was great! We were able to skip lines where tickets were needed. It was also very easy to book experience when it called for it. My husband and I ended up saving 150$ by using the passes with everything we did. We got the one day pass and was so worth it. We did more than what we would have if we had to pay for all of these out of pocket.

Operator response

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience and were able to make the most of your pass. Skipping lines and booking activities easily is exactly what we aim for, so it’s wonderful to know it made your day smoother and more enjoyable. We really appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to help you plan another amazing day out in the future.

Planning ahead is the key for this pass .

Most of the things that are listed, were free. To get your moneys worth you have to really look at the places that you need reservations for and then you have to figure out the times. It takes a lot of planning to get your moneys worth out of it. You also have to call different places to make reservations. I had to do a lot of juggling on our vacation to make it work and get my moneys worth

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience, we really appreciate your honest feedback. We are sorry to hear that using the pass felt like hard work at times, especially when it came to planning and coordinating reservations. We completely understand how valuable your time is on holiday, and how frustrating it can be when things require more organisation than expected. To help make the most of the pass, we do encourage customers to group nearby attractions together and plan ahead where possible. Our website and app include detailed information on each attraction, including reservation requirements, opening times, and helpful tips to support planning before and during your trip. Your feedback is really valuable to us as we continue to improve the experience and make it as seamless as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to share this with us.

Go City Pass is the only way to GO!

The Go City Pass is the only way to go! Used in New Orleans and highly recommend the Cajun Pride Swamp Tour, walking True Crime Tour, World War II Museum, City Bus Tour (stops at Cafe Du Monde for beignets and cemetery so you can walk around) and Creole Queen paddle boat down the Mississippi River. It pays for itself after only 2 or 3 attractions. Offers a wide variety of things to do. Typically can use shorter lines and pass the long lines. Easy to access your passes on their app. I have used this in New Orleans, New York City and San Francisco and have been very happy!

Operator response

We absolutely love this, thank you so much for such a fantastic review! It is amazing to hear how much you enjoyed using Go City in New Orleans, and your recommendations sound like an incredible itinerary, the Cajun Pride Swamp Tour and Creole Queen river cruise are always such memorable highlights! We are especially pleased to hear the pass delivered great value for you after just a few attractions, and that you found it easy to use on the app and helpful for skipping long lines, that is exactly the kind of seamless experience we aim to provide. Thank you again for your recommendation, and we cannot wait to welcome you on your next Go City adventure!

Jazzy pass think about it,

.40 per ride for seniors. Jazzy pass is based on full price of 1.50. So spending $15 for the 7 day was a major waste of money. We often had to walk 4-6 blocks. That said the app is good for navigation but I used Google Maps also so not necessary. The pate’ plate at the Roosevelt hotel was top of the line but it was confiscated when I went to Saenger. Houston’s had the best crab cake and slaw I ever had. Hotel Montelone was good but skip the chicken crepe. Lots of grissle. La Quinta on Camp was very nice. Would stay there again

Operator response

We are sorry to hear that the pass did not feel like good value for you, especially when compared to the senior fare, we completely understand how important it is for the savings to be clear and worthwhile. Our passes are designed around standard admission pricing, so we appreciate this may not always align with discounted fares such as senior rates. Your feedback is really valuable and helps us better understand how we can improve transparency around this. It is great to hear you found the app helpful for navigation and that you still had some standout experiences along the way, it sounds like you made the most of some fantastic spots during your trip. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback, and we hope to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Don’t purchase unless you want a headache

Getting the passes to work was a major headache requiring several calls to Viator and go city. The bar code sent in the email didn’t work. We had reservation and booking numbers which also didn’t work. It took several calls to get our actual pass numbers. Several of the attractions wanted a QR code that we never received, but if they manually typed in our pass numbers, which were very difficult to actually get, they let us in. We were able to see everything we wanted to, but it wasn’t worth the headache when we could have paid for each attraction individually. I would not recommend getting this pass unless you enjoy the frustration of many difficult phone calls. It took a lot of patience to get the results we were looking for.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered getting your passes to work. That level of frustration is certainly not what we want for our guests, especially when you’re looking forward to enjoying your attractions. We understand how stressful it must have been to make multiple calls and deal with barcodes, reservation numbers, and pass numbers that didn’t initially work as expected. While we’re glad you were ultimately able to visit all the attractions you planned, we regret that the process required so much time and patience. Your feedback is extremely valuable and has been shared with our partners so we can help improve communication and ensure QR codes and pass details are delivered clearly and correctly moving forward. We’re continuously working to make the experience smoother and more seamless for future travelers. Wed like to hear more about your experience, please kindly contact us at customerfeedback@gocity.com Thank you again for your honest feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

Cross reference the things you want to do versus The Go City pass

For us there were several things on our list that we wanted to do over a five day visit. I love to research so I decided to start researching the cost of things that we wanted to do per person vs the things we wanted to do that were on the go City pass, actually there was a lot and after doing three of the things that we wanted to do.... it paid for itself. I would highly recommend going on The Go City pass app looking at what they offer if there are things on there that you are interested in doing, cross-reference them with their actual website or maybe Google or Groupon etc. It may definitely be worth it or if you're only there to do one or two things it may not. Just do your research! But as for us... this came and handy and saved us a lot of money. And in these days I'm all about saving as much as possible so I can use it to plan my next trip 😉 I highly recommend! Have fun!
