Itinerary

Admission included60 min

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba stands on the western shores of Lake Saiko, called “the most beautiful village in Japan.” There were about 20 thatched-roof houses in the kabuto-zukuri (samurai helmet-shaped roof) style, with dahlias, mountain lilies, yarrow, and other lovely flowers blooming along the roadsides. The village which is said to have already been in existence in the time of the Takeda clan and was destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966. Forty years later the village's traditional thatched roofed houses were reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where people can learn about the culture and try out and purchase different local handicrafts.

50 min

The Chureito Pagoda, located in Arakurayama Sengen Park, is a must-see attraction. This park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Chureito Pagoda, Mt. Fuji, and Fujiyoshida City at the foot of the Mountain. To reach the Chureito Pagoda and the observation deck, visitors must climb 398 stairs. The view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan and is listed as one of the 21 must-visit places for photographers from around the world. While the cherry blossom season is ideal for capturing the iconic image of Mt. Fuji surrounded by cherry blossoms and the five-storied pagoda, the park offers stunning scenery throughout the year as the landscape changes with the seasons.

15 min

The shrine was built in 705 and has served as the guardian god of Arakura Village for over 1,300 years. It is a sacred place of worship where people seek protection against bad luck, promote harmony within their households, and pray for safe childbirth and successful child-rearing.

60 min

Oshino Hakkai is a village known for its eight clear spring water ponds, which are recognized as one of the "Top 100 Famous Waters of Japan." It is classified as a Natural Monument and is part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji. As the water filters down through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, it results in exceptionally clear spring water that the locals deeply value. Visitors can taste this magical spring water for free, feel its sweetness and purity, and experience the legend of longevity.

15 min

Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes, renowned for its stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji from the shore. It has the longest shoreline among the Fuji Five Lakes. On a calm, clear day, you can see a perfect mirror image of Mount Fuji reflected in the water. In 2013, the lake was added to the World Heritage List as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site.

20 min

Oishi Park is a beautiful scenic area where you can enjoy a stunning view of flowers, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mt. Fuji all at once. The lakeside promenade features various flowers that bloom according to the season. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" offers a vibrant display of colorful blooms throughout the year. At the end of Flowers Road, you'll find Kochia (summer cypress) that flourishes from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot. Throughout the year, the park showcases 90 different types of seasonal flowers, with various blooms visible at any given time. As you stroll along the promenade surrounded by flowers and gazing at Mt. Fuji, you'll feel a sense of tranquility.

10 min

On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.

Mt.Fuji Experience directly from Tokyo

I think this is a great tour to experience Mt.Fuji from various spots. However the weather is a crucial part here. In some seasons the Mountain can not be seen at all and it might be cloudy all the time. But if you have good weather it is a great option if you want to see Mt. Fuji while you are in Tokio.

Wonderful mountain Fuji day trip with Tim

My family and I had an unforgettable full‑day sightseeing trip to Mount Fuji with our guide, Tim. From start to finish, he made the experience smooth, engaging, and incredibly informative. At every attraction, Tim shared fascinating historical and cultural background that helped us appreciate each place on a deeper level. He also took wonderful photos of me and my sons, offered excellent suggestions for food and cultural experiences, and was always polite, patient, and never rushed us. His guidance made the day easy to enjoy and truly memorable. We are very happy with Tim’s service and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a well‑organized, insightful, and enjoyable Mount Fuji tour.
