Amazing tour! We had a limited time to experience Lisbon and the surrounding area and this tour gave us the full experience we needed. Helio is amazing! He really enjoys his job and sharing his knowledge with all. He went above and beyond and provided information that was interesting and well.as being personable. We had plenty of time to enjoy the sites as well and was extremely accommodating! Recommend to all!

Pena Castle

Sophia is a knowledgeable tour guide and explained the history of the architecture. There are many staircases and uneven pavements so anyone with mobility issues, it may not be the best tour for you.

Worth the tour

Living Life Tours treated us very well. We did a premium small tour of Sintra, Pena & Regaleira that did not disappoint. Our tour guide (Pedro) picked us up from the hotel and the tour started immediately with stories as we made our way to the first stop. Peña was beautiful and I’m so glad I went. The walk up to the castle was a bit more of an upward inclined than I expected, but Pedro checked in to make sure I was ok and allowed opportunities for breaks. (FYI - There is a shuttle that takes you up to the palace if you have health or mobility issues) We stopped in the town of Sintra for lunch and a bit of shopping. It is a nice town. Eat first / shop second. Then off to Regaleira. The well is breaking (wish I could have spent more time there. The grounds are full of beautiful plants and statues and the castle is nice too. Throughout the tour Pedro provided key pieces of historical information that really added to the experience. As we made our way back we stopped at the western most spot of Portugal and drove through some nice areas. These were nice additions but at the end of a long day I wouldn’t have minded just heading back to Lisbon. The only negative I can say is that we were dropped off at a central location (not our hotel) which after a long day was a bit disappointing.
