The bike tour was an excellent way to see Hiroshima, learn more about the dropping of the atomic bomb and the peace park, and taste some local specialities. We really enjoyed it and cycling was a good break from all the walking we had done elsewhere, especially in the July heat. The pace was good - we saw a lot but didn't feel rushed. Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
Great experience cycling and tasting local foods in Hiroshima. My tour guide Miyu was a fantastic guide showing me around. Sampled okonomiyaki, momiji manju, sweet treats at a bakery and enjoyed cycling around Hiroshima. Highly recommend to do this tour if you are un Hiroshima.
Awaresome experience. My guide was Miyu and we went cycling around Hiroshima area and trying some local foods. Enjoyed a momiji manju at the vending machine, Went to a local bakery enjoy some pastries with a coffee, lunchtime meal at a local Okonomiyaki restaurant and some local sweet treats. It was a perfect weather to cycle around the area. I Highly recommend to book this tour if you are in Hiroshima area and enjoy cycling and food.
Awais was an amazing guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable and took us on a well timed and well paced tour. The food we ate was some of the best we had in Hiroshima and the historical sites we visited were impactful.
Fantastically enjoyed the food tour, great food, and enough seen, thanks to Miyu.
We did a food tour this morning with Awais, and it was a fantastic experience. We really enjoyed the food and learned a great deal about the history of Hiroshima along the way. Awais was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour both engaging and memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima.
We had a fun bicycle ride around town to try food from a vending, delicious pastries from a local pastry store, a local family restaurant for lunch, and a local hand made delicate dessert. We also stopped by the Thousands cranes memorial and the atomic bomb memorial. Our tour lady, Yunmi speaks English very well and provided a lot of historical information. She is very friendly and fun to talk to.
Alex provided an unforgettable day exploring Hiroshima’s history and resilience, and also the local cuisine! He had a broad selection of well maintained bicycles to cater for anyone, and we were off an pedalling the wide paths and roads of the city on a beautiful sunny but cool February morning in minutes. Alex has a comprehensive knowledge of the devastating impact that the first atomic bomb caused, and his personal family connections and detailed understanding of human experiences ensured a moving and powerful appreciation of the events and their aftermath. We were well fuelled with frequent stops at carefully selected local restaurants and eating houses, enjoying regional delicacies including oysters, tempura, (and other delicious foods I can’t spell! )
AWAIS was amazing very knowledgeable very experienced , very friendly and we both couldn’t have enjoyed our tour more. Highly recommend this tour and of course if you can get AWAIS even better. The food was also very enjoy and nice variety. Thanks for this memorable experience I. Hiroshima.Dan and Felena.
