One of the most important Christian sites in the world, Fátima is home to the Sanctuary of Fatima, which honors the 1917 apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (another name for the Virgin Mary). After your visit, you’ll explore the coastal fishing town of Nazaré and the medieval village of Óbidos, stopping at the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the way. Enjoy picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and agricultural landscapes as you travel along the dramatic cliffs of the Portugal coast. Throughout your tour, you’ll learn interesting facts and hear stories from your guide.

Itinerary
Get comfortable in an air-conditioned vehicle as you start your journey toward the town of Fátima, a once-sleepy rural village that became an important pilgrimage site when three shepherd children reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Visit the Sanctuary of Fatima, a basilica that honors the apparition and attracts millions of Catholic pilgrims every year who go to pay their respects to the shrine
Next, visit the 14th-century Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that illustrates the rich artistic heritage of the late 1300s. Discover the impressive royal burial site at the basilica’s Founder’s Chapel, where King João I, Queen Philippa of Lancaster and their son Prince Henry the Navigator were buried. Note that we only visit the main church area, which is free of charge. To visit the whole structure (which we don't have much time), cloisters included, an additional charge is required (to be paid by the client directly to the local ticket office).
A stop to enjoy the old town of Nazaré, site of miracles, visions and one of the best views of the Portuguese coastline.
Take a short break for lunch (own expense) in Nazaré, a quaint fishing town famous for its variety of restaurants and cafes. A popular summer retreat for the Portuguese, the village offers an interesting insight into local life. Short stop at the Nazaré cliffs to see the ocean views
Finally, make your way to the medieval village of Óbidos. Founded in 208 BC, Óbidos is commonly known in Portugal as the 'wedding present town', as it was a gift from King Dinis to Queen Isabel on their wedding day in 1282. Follow your guide to one of the numerous wine shops and sample the Ginja liqueur, and then enjoy free time to explore the village’s medieval fortress, narrow streets, colorful houses and Gothic doorways and windows decorated with flowerpots and dazzling tiles. Grab a snack or browse around the tiny shops that offer a varied collection of beautiful handmade ceramic art before making your way back to Lisbon.

My sister and myself went on tour we had a fantastic day trip our driver tour guide was called Alex such a friendly guy who put us at easy from the minute he picked us up. The day was so relaxing Alex seemed to know when to give us information and when to give us our own time. A very professional tour guide and an asset to the company
The tour was planned well and did not feel too long. Xavier our guide conducted the tour in both english and portuguese.
Van was new and comfortable, however the 9 hour duration is too long. I liked the stop at the Gothic church in Balatha and it is worth a mention in the ads. Too bad the battle site was skipped. I suggest add it and spend less time in Nazare.
Great locations visited and appropriate time applications for each. The sites were lovely of the tour guide was great.
The tour was great. I was comfortable and felt safe at all times in the transport vehicle. Fátima was an emotional time, a very moving experience. Nazare and Obidos were fantastic as well. I had a great day. Felipe, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He was courteous and kind. He drove well. Th tour couldn’t have been better. A perfect day.
We had a fantastic tour of Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos. Our guide Sergio was outstanding – knowledgeable, engaging, empathetic, and extremely professional. He shared fascinating information about each destination and communicated everything in a warm and captivating way. His kindness and attention to the group made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour and are very grateful for such an excellent guide. Thank you for a truly memorable day!
Very memorable trip this is. 3 major places with each attraction the captures your soul, your body and your spirit. In Fatima you can visit the graves of Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia at the Basilica. There is also another New Basilica where masses are offered. If you do not like extremely big crowd, don't come on the 13th of every month. Nazare offers stunning views if the ocean, the beach and the paniramic sight of huge waves. Beside the beach I experienced a taste of Portuguese fish and wine for lunch and a quick swim by the water. In Obidos I have a chance to taste chocolate ginger wine. Cobbled stone walk towards the remnants of Old castle. Very beautiful. This is a MUST SEE tour in Portugal. Very worth it and affordable. 7 of us in this tour, 2 from Croatia, 2 from US, 1 from Canada, 2 from UK. We were all satisfied awed by the entire experience. Our driver even made a side trip to Batalla, a town with a stunning Medieval Cathedral. Come and try this 3-in-1 tour.
It was a very pleasant walk. Miguel, our guide, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We made the most of the day. The small group made the tour very enjoyable and fun. Highly recommended!
