It was nice to get out of Tokyo for a day

Great tour with Jade. A lot of walking. Since only two of us were on this tour, I think it made it much easier to plan and hop on and off the trains and buses. Both were very crowded on the day we went. Had a great lunch at a buckwheat soba restaurant. It was nice to see two new places and get out of Tokyo for a day.

Jade is amazing

Jade was a very personable guide knowledgeable about each place and capable of getting around efficiently. She had great recommendations for lunch as well. We were also thankful that it ended up being just my husband and I on the tour. However I would not recommend going to Kamakura on a Saturday as it was VERY crowded.

A Great Personal Experience

I went on this day tour with Jeff. It was just him and I on this tour, so it felt more like being shown around by a friend. I had a great experience with him. He was a fount of knowledge about the history and background of all the sites we visited. He also had good recommendations on things to try to enhance the experience and helped with finding places I could eat for lunch (I am vegetarian). Would definitely recommend going on this tour with Snow Monkey Resorts for anyone interested in seeing Kamakura and Enoshima.

Taiga the Great

Meet up was at 8 am and we were beyond late, but they were so accommodating and responsive. Family of 4 adults, a toddler, and a baby. It was a hectic and chaotic time for us and Taiga, our tour guide, was phenomenal! The tour felt so tailored to us and personalized down to the last detail. He did such an amazing job calming my baby too and putting this stressed mama at ease. He navigated the public transport with all 6 of us in tow like a true boss. Not to mention helping us rent a stroller for our toddler. If I could request all my tours to be led by Taiga, I know it would be a great time. I will definitely lookout for Snow Monkey Resorts Tours again because of him. Like, literally, give this man a raise because we had an absolutely amazing time with him on this tour!

Jeff is the best!

The beginning of the trip was a little rough trying to navigate to the meet up point, but it all worked out that the group waited for us to find our way. Jeff was our tour guide & he was so knowledgeable, very kind & gave a really great tour even with 15 of us following him around the city! He was able to navigate the weather & rearrange the itinerary to allow us to see things at the best time. 10/10 would go on another tour with Jeff!

Amazing day trip Tokyo-Kamakura

We had the most incredible day exploring Kamakura and Enoshima, all thanks to our amazing guide, Jeff. From the moment we met, he felt more like a friend than a tour guide—warm, genuine, and so easy to talk to. His knowledge was truly impressive. He brought every temple, street, and hidden corner to life with fascinating stories and insights we would have never discovered on our own. The way he explained the history and culture made everything feel so meaningful and memorable. The entire experience was seamless, relaxed, and perfectly tailored. We never felt rushed, and he made sure we enjoyed every moment—from the peaceful temples of Kamakura to the stunning views of Enoshima Island. This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, kind, and truly passionate about what he does, we couldn’t recommend him more highly! 🌸 Christo & Didi (Australia)
