Our tour guide, Jamie, was wonderful. He shared important information in a thoughtful and interesting way, while never losing sight of the magnitude of the atrocities that had occured. We walked away thinking everyone should experience a concentration camp to just begin to undrrstand the horror of what happened.
Great tour and our guide was interesting and informative. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. Highly recommend!
Overall a great guided tour. Very knowledgeable, friendly and prepared tour guide given the time constraints that are given.
Jamie was an outstanding guide for our tour to Dachau Memorial Site. From the beginning, he was very organised made us aware of what was happening throughout the tour. Jamie’s knowledge, not only of the Dachau Site, but also of the events around the time of its operation were very knowledgeable as well as respectful. We would highly recommend this tour.
Jaime was a fantastic tour guide. He engaged with all of the people in the tour group. He was so knowledgeable and compassionate about Dachau.
My family comes from USA and Jamie was our tour guide. He was fantastic. He was engaging and knowledgable, and did a really good job handling the logistics of transportation with our group. Would recommend.
Excellent tour. Jamie is very knowledgeable and took us around with lots of pearls of wisdom in a solemn/fun way.
The tour was fantastic. Jamie was a perfect guide. He got us there without issue, was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all of the various things about the camp and the history of the time. I would highly recommend using them for a tourYou .
Our guide through Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site was Jamie from Ireland, and he was seriously the best. We went on one of Germany’s hottest days this summer, and the site is quite large with a lot of outdoor walking not protected by shade. Jamie was constantly very intentional about making sure we had shady spots to stop while he led very knowledgeable and impactful discussions. He was also consistently encouraging our water intake and telling us each place we could acquire some along the way. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and excitedly welcomed questions of all types- I even bothered him most of the train ride back with more questions when curiosity struck, and you could just tell he was happy to have the discussions- he has had a lot of very interesting lived experience that I recommended picking his brain about. Going somewhere like a concentration camp memorial site (granted this was my first time doing so) had an emotional impact on me, and Jamie was the best catalyst for my time there that I could’ve asked for. He had a very tasteful way of balancing implementing lighthearted commentary with the depth of the tragic subject matter. He was very knowledgeable about fact vs. fiction we may have encountered as well. In conclusion, my time spent at the site was expected to be impactful, but Jamie made it more memorable than I could’ve imagined. I highly recommend going here, and I HIGHLY recommend booking with Jamie!
Very knowledgeable and personable!
