Pick you up from Da Nang hotels: Our private car and driver pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang, and drive 15 to 30 minutes to Hoi An to meet your local guide to start this fun PRIVATE TOUR.
Upon arriving in Hoi An, our knowledgeable local guide will give you a quick overview of the fascinating stops on the tour and share important tips for visiting local families. Get ready for an exciting adventure through Hoi An’s countryside villages and islands, where you’ll meet skilled artisans and experience traditional crafts with welcoming locals. Don’t forget—you’re free to take photos at any stop along the way!
We'll cross a bridge over the Thu Bon River to visit Cam Kim Island and experience the daily life of the islanders. Meet a 65-year-old couple, help them grind rice and make rice paper from rice milk, then enjoy local snacks like Banh Dap and Banh Beo. Next, visit another family to witness the entire process of producing organic incense from wood powders such as cinnamon and cigarwood.
Drive past beautiful rice paddies, cornfields, and herds of cows and water buffalo. Ride along the riverbank to see traditional fishing boats. Visit a mat-weaving family, where this age-old craft has been passed down through generations in rural Vietnam. Try your hand at weaving a mat and learn more about the local way of life.
Continue the adventure by driving off the beaten path and stopping at a charming coffee shop. Enjoy a refreshing cup of Vietnamese coffee, smoothie, or fruit juice, and take a break to use the washroom.
Drive over a high bridge and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the fishing village, Hoi An Old Town, Cua Dai Harbor, and the beautiful Cham Islands in the distance.
Later, visit Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village and hop into a traditional round basket boat. A local fisherman will guide you on a relaxing trip beneath the shade of lush coconut trees. Enjoy the fun of using a fishing rod to catch some river crabs. Afterward, we’ll drive along a picturesque road lined with coconut trees, stopping to take photos of water buffaloes roaming freely in the fields and passing by shrimp farms along the way.
We'll make a brief stop at Tra Que Vegetable Village to see local farmers tending to their gardens, and growing a variety of vegetables. It's the perfect opportunity to take photos, enjoy the scent of fresh herbs, and learn about traditional farming methods. Afterward, we’ll head to a local restaurant or return to Hoi An Old Town. It was a very nice trip, you could experience for yourself what it's like to work in disappearing Vietnamese professions.The guide, Nhu Quynh, showed us around the attractions in a very professional manner; she was kind and helpful.
We had a truly wonderful experience with Hannah and Long. Hannah was an exceptional guide who is kind, and knowledgeable about the local sites and we were made to feel most welcome. I recommend this experience for anyone who wants to experience authentic and genuine local tours. Hannah is probably one of the best tour guides I’ve had in Asia to date. Long is a great local driver who knows how to weave in and out of the traffic safely and comfortably. I particularly liked meeting local people and seeing their businesses and getting to see the real side of Vietnam. It doesn’t get any better than this.

They offered a private tour for our family with a guide, Vin and it was a wonderful experience to learn about traditions and local cultures in the area. Vin has been caring and kind to us. Our 9-years-old son especially enjoyed the incense making activities.
This was amazing! We saw and tried so many things we would not have seen in the city: making of mother of pearl inlay in wood, making colorful mats, making incense, fishing for crabs, taking picture with water buffalo. Fabulous late lunch. Chicky was a great guide - very proud about everything he had to show us. Best tour of the trip BY FAR!

We had an excellent full morning tour. Thankyou LAN It was such a wonderful time we had. You are so knowledgeable and my wife and I learned so much and had a brilliant time. This tour picks up from hotel. We needed to be in Hoi An ancient town at the finish and that was no problem. Door to door (where we needed). The tour gave an insightful view of life around Hoi An and the lives of extremely friendly locals who were genuinely happy to share experiences. Don’t just do the main stream tourist routes. You won’t be sorry. Highly recommend.
Such a fun experience! From start to end, this was really a wonderful day. Our tour guide ChickyTrung was great and gave us and the kids a lot of knowledge throughout the tour. We met a lot of really warm and friendly people. The kids got so included in all the activities. Our Tour guide knew exactly when we should take out our camera, and he also captured really beautiful moments that we recieved the same day.
