Itinerary
After parking at the official parking lot, you will be directed to the beginning of the trail to the Ribeira do Ferreiro Poço. Upon reaching the main viewpoint, you will be able to admire dozens of waterfalls descending down the green slope. There will be a stop for contemplation, rest and recording of images, before returning for the same route.
After arrival at the parking lot in Fajã Grande, our guide will lead you to the entrance of the trail that leads to the Bacalhau Waterfall. Upon arrival, you will be able to observe an impressive waterfall of about 90 meters high, with a well of crystal clear water at the base. There will be a stop of up to 1 hour to appreciate the landscape, rest and, if desired, a refreshing bath, before returning to the starting point.
Upon arrival at the parking lot near the attraction, our guide will accompany you on a short walk to the Mirante de la Rocha dos Bordões. On the view, you can contemplate this impressive rock formation, unique in the Azores, with its immense vertical columns that resemble organ tubes. We will have a stop of approximately 10 minutes for observation, photos and appreciation of the surrounding landscape, before returning.
After parking at the main access, our guide will lead you to the Miradouro of the Black Lagoon. On the viewpoint, you can see the deep dark color of the waters, surrounded by green slopes and a peaceful atmosphere. We will make a stop of approximately 15 minutes for contemplation, photographs and nature appreciation before returning to the starting point.
Upon arrival at the access parking lot, our guide will accompany you to the viewpoints of Caldeira Funda and Caldeira Rasa. On the viewpoint, you will be able to admire the Found Caldeira, with its deep-water lagoon and dense vegetation around, and, right ahead, the Caldeira Rasa, smaller and more shallow, but equally charming. We will have a stop of approximately 15 minutes for observation, photos and contemplation of nature, before returning.
After parking in the access area, our guide will take you to the Lagoa da Lomba Miradouro. From the viewpoint, you can see the serene waters of the lagoon, surrounded by lush vegetation and gentle mountains. We will make a stop for contemplation, photos and appreciation of the quiet landscape, before the return.
After parking at the main access, our guide will accompany you on a short walk to the Albarnaz Lighthouse. On site, you can enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the nearby islands. We will have a stop for contemplation, photographs and free time to explore the surroundings, before the return.

It was the best choice to take this tour, a complete tour, visiting the beautiful spots on Flores island. The initial tour was with Renata, but due to the heavy rain for half of the day some spots weren't visible. Due to their availability we got the opportunity the next day to see the missing points with Helder, Renata's husband and therefore we've managed to see the whole island. On both days the tour started with the direct pick-up, continued over the many photo stops and a short trail. On the first day we had a great lunch, trying local food, delicious. Both Renata and Helder are very responsible and safe drivers, sharing with us many information about the island, they are cool people and was nice to have them as guides. We really appreciated their availability to see the missing view points on the second day and to drive us to the airport. I would 100% recommend Dona Julia Tours to anyone visiting Flores.

Complete tour by van of Flores. If you have limited time, this is perfect to see the highlights in one day. It's mostly sitting in the van, less active tour.

Excellent way to see all points of interest on the island. We were never rushed and spent as long as wanted at stops. Also able to take some walking breaks.

Our tour of Flores was led by Hinata, who was an excellent guide. She owns and operates the company with her husband, Helder, who we also met at one of the tour stops. Hinata showed us all over the island, taking us to multiple viewpoints and even a couple of short hikes. The weather wasn't very good to start the day, but that didn't deter her; she simply adjusted the schedule to ensure we could still see everything once the weather cleared up. I would 100% recommend Dona Julia Tours to anyone visiting Flores.

Excellent overview - stopping at almost every viewpoint, and two hikes to waterfalls that were amazing. The lakes were fogged in - so they picked me up the next morning for a mini-tour to see the lakes!

The tour was very complete, allowing us to see some of the island’s most iconic points, such as lagoons, waterfalls and miradours. However, it would have been even more enriching with more sharing about local history and geology. Renata was very attentive and made every effort to make sure we visited all the places of interest, so I thank you, but I think you could benefit from a deeper local knowledge.
