Our tour office is the starting point of the tour. There you'll meet your guide as as well as taste traditional Bavarian Christmas cookies.
This will be the first stop on our Christmas Markets tour
The Marienplatz in the city center of Munich offers the biggest market of Munich with all the traditional shops and stalls.
Inside the Munich Residence of the former royal family your guide will show you another beautiful hidden Christmas market.
The last stop of the tour will show us Munich's most unique christmas market, the medieval christmas market of Munich. The tour will conclude here.

We found Elizabeth to be not only well informed, but very humorous in her presentation. That helped us retain a lot of the information she shared. A great introduction to a few of the Christmas Markets in Munich and also got to enjoy some tasty treats (that we probably would not have had just wandering around the markets on our own). We did this the first afternoon we arrived and we really enjoyed our guide Elizabeth.

We walked all through Old Town Munich learning about the history of Christmas. Our guide Elisabeth told us many stories about Bavaria, Churches, historical landmarks, and the Christmas Markets. We sampled German gingerbread, stolen, almonds and ended the tour sampling some mulled wine with a sugar cube! We walked over 10,000 steps in 3 hours! Some of us needed a bathroom break but we never stopped until the end of the tour.
