The market is one of Charleston's most popular destinations. It was a former meat and farmers market. It is now a hotspot for shopping and tourism. It is filled with shops, restaurants, bars and sweetgrass baskets.
Rainbow Row is one of the most picturesque places in the entire city. It is a row of houses that are painted in beautiful pastel colors in the charming neighborhood known as South of Broad.
Saint Philip's Church is Charleston's oldest congregation and most recognized church building. With a plethora of history and architectural beauty it truly stands out.
Charleston's most beautiful public park. The battery is a former defense for Charleston during the Civil War. It is now a memorial park and the former location of pirate executions.
The only waterfront house museum in Charleston. This iconic and historic house is situated near the sea wall and overlooks the Charleston harbor.
The college of Charleston is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in America dating back to 1770. The campus is historic and aesthetically pleasing.

Nick was fabulous. Very engaging. Was an intimate tour only 4 people whichwas very nice since it was our first time in Charleston Would have like to hear more history but all in all it was fun. We also liked the fact that he is a local and we were able to support him.

Our travel guide was very good. Trip was informative and comfortable. I would recommend better communication about the type of vehicle picking up its passengers and the company name on the van.

A great way to learn about the Charleston harbor, the Ashley and Cooper Rivers and Ft. Sumpter. The boat captain was excellent- not only in navigation, but also in clarity in speaking on the PA system. I definitely recommend this cruise. Parking availability.

Our tour guide was wonderfully knowledgeable about Charleston. He answered all of our questions. He also took us to sites that we requested to see. The tour operators were very flexible with us, as well.

Nick was a fun guide, and I would recommend the tour. TripAdvisor has some problems that need to be fixed. The tour meets at the visitors center; TA provides no address or meeting place. Parking is VERY expensive in Charlestown, so moving a car around is not ideal. Had I known we were to meet the tour at the visitors center, I would have parked there instead of several blocks away. BTW, there is no street address posted for the visitor center either. This made it very difficult for my handicapped husband.
