The Fort Sumter tour was amazing! I highly recommend. I loved the flag raising ceremony and how kids (and adults) were allowed to participate and learn about the flag. Lots of great infomation about the history of the site!
Great experience, staff are very knowledgeable. We had a fantastic day trip. We will definitely go back.
I really enjoyed the view of Charleston on the ride out to the monument Rangers were great in informing all the guest of the important events that happened there.
Viator gives horrible directions to meet the ferry. The rest of your visit will be awesome. You board the ferry by the USS Yorktown store. Unfortunately, Viator sent us to an area a 1/2 mile away. 45 minutes later we found the ferry.
Great experience! The Rangers are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! Thank you National Park Service!
We really enjoyed it. The ferry ride was very nice and the guide was really informative. Once we arrived the guide continued to give us information about the history of the fort and helped us with the lift we needed due to using a walker. The museum was very interesting. It was a good lesson in our history.
Arrive earlysit back and enjoy !!! Fort was a great experience!!!! We took many pictures and the rangers were knowledgeable!!!
There is little shade, so if visiting in summer, wear a hat, sunscreen, and drink water. There are also a lot of steps. There are limited accessible areas for wheelchairs and assisted walkers. Overall, the program is excellent, well-rounded, organized, and informative.
Nice trip with a lot of information. An hour is plenty at the fort and the ride out is pleasant. It’s a good late morning activity because it gets very hot in the afternoon.
Great experience, lots of good historical accuracy and information. Park rangers were very cordial and well informed.
