Enjoy a memorable day safari to Aquila Private Game Reserve, one of the closest Big Five safari destinations to Cape Town. The tour begins with a convenient hotel pick-up and comfortable travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with Wi-Fi and complimentary bottled water. Upon arrival at the reserve, a buffet lunch is served before the safari (included). After lunch, set off on a guided game drive with a professional ranger, where you may spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros along with giraffes, hippopotamus, antelopes, eland, monkeys, and baboons, while learning about wildlife conservation and endangered species. This malaria-free safari is ideal for first-time visitors and offers one of the easiest safari experiences near Cape Town, followed by a return transfer to your hotel. Nb. 0830hrs pickup from your accommodation/hotel within town and the surrounding. The tour will start at cape town central city and drive along the N 1 highway past the language monument outside paarl.This is a 2-3hrs drive safari from cape town to Aquila.It is a 4 star family- friendly destination you will experience a scenic 2 hrs drive from cape town to Aquila game reserve ,the route features stunning scenery ,including vineyards and mountains.
you will be passing under the DU Toitskloof/ Huguenot Tunnel which is the unique and longest in the country with 3,9 km long the tunnel links Paarl wine region and Worcester.Avery impressive scenery all around you it"s paradisaical .will have a stop here at the top and have a view of table mountain from a distance, The cederberg mountain whith The rare Floral shrubs herbs and the Finbos which can not be seen nowhere else in the world but only here in the western cape
At the Du kloof lodge will have a break ( coffee extra is optional).The lodge is between the Du Toits Kloof and witteberg mountains in a wine producing region of the western cape ,on the banks of the Molenaars river.Its a haven of fresh air and tranquillity.
The Breede River, also known as Breë River, is a river in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Travelling inland north from the city of Cape Town, the river runs in a west to east direction. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the famous winelands of the Breede river which the first catchment area of the river is in the skurweberg mountain range close to ceres..The head waters runs through the modern day mitchells pass before plaining out on its middle course in the worcester area.The river mouth is in an estuary at port Beaufort on the indian ocean.
De wet cellar was founded on 15th April 1946 being the oldest cellar in the worcester.Originally producing about 3000 tons of grapes per year ,it has since developed into a quality processing cellar of around 22,000 tons per year.

- up on arrival at aquila reserve, you will be greeted with a welcome drink consisting of sparkling wine , water , and non alcohol wine, fruit juice . following the check-in as you will need to pay for the entrance fees , a buffet lunch will be available for self-service after lunch you will meet with a professional and accredited game drive ranger who will brief you before heading out on a big five game drive . please listen carefully to your ranger 's instructions and avoid making any noise to prevent animals from panicking during the game drive , at the end of the game drive you will have about 30 hour relaxation before heading back to cape town we look forward having you on board with us African Macaw DMC and cresting unforgettable memories

The safari park fees were paid in advance, but a payment mixup between Viator and the facility caused me to have to pay at the counter again for my party of 6. Once I could demonstrate that my credit card had been charged the full amount, Viator was able to reimburse what I paid at the counter. But the mistake and the time spent to resolve the issue was frustrating taking away from my impression of the service. The people behind the counter were dismissive of my concerns.

We had purchased and paid for the park fees in advance through the Aquila Safari chanel . Unfortunately, due to a duplicate booking error on the system, the gate staff could not see the payment and asked you to pay again at the counter. I understand how upsetting that was, especially for a party of 6, and I’m sorry it took away from your safari experience. I want you to know: the moment I realized what happened, I personally tracked your payment and immediately requested Viator to refund the extra amount you paid at the gate. As I mentioned when I met you at the reserve, such mistakes should never happen and I truly regret that they did. We’ve also followed up with the reserve to prevent this from happening again. Your feedback helps us improve, and I’m grateful you gave us the chance to make it right. Aquila is an oasis. As a game reserve it is well managed, guests are looked after well and the food is excellent too! A great experience to see so many of the big five in natural surroundings.
