Buggy – Off-road Excursion w/ lunch – Coast to Coast (Shared)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We loved our guided buggy tour in the Seven Cities on the island of São Miguel, Azores, with ANC Azores Holidays. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. The ANC team was extremely professional and friendly, and our Tita guide was absolutely fantastic. Always attentive, fun and very knowledgeable of the region, made the whole tour even more special. During the tour we had the opportunity to see stunning views of the Seven Cities and explore places we simply couldn’t reach by normal car. We passed incredible trails, spectacular viewpoints and unique natural landscapes that make São Miguel such a special destination. It was a very fun adventure, but also very safe. Before the ride we were a little scared about the speed of the buggies, but we quickly realized that the cars are limited to a safe speed, which makes the experience accessible even for those who have never driven a buggy before. In addition, the guide always leads the group and guides the whole journey in an excellent way. If you are looking for one of the best buggy tours in São Miguel, we highly recommend ANC Azores Holidays. It’s an amazing way to explore the Seven Cities, discover unique landscapes and live a memorable adventure in the Azores. Certainly we will repeat when we return to the island. A 5 star experience!

You get very very dusty- plan accordingly. Wear goggles or glasses and bring a bandana to cover your mouth. It’s a fun experience overall I just wish we saw more iconic landmarks.

This is a great way to get oriented to the island early in your trip. The Buggy’s are fun, but be ready to get dusty! Sunglasses are critical! This is great for families or friend groups. Kids should be out of car seat age. Our guide Luis was witty and knowledgeable.

The guide was kindly. We took many photos and the views were spectacular. While we were doing the route, our guide explained the history of every place. The only bad thing was a problem with the buggy but they solved it before starting.

The tour guide was amazing and the views were spectacular. We would recommend everyone that visits the Island so the tour.

We had an unforgettable trip with our guide André Matias on 11.2.23. The Buggy Tour took us from coast to coast this time. That day we were the only family who had booked this trip. Although we have visited the island a few times already in recent years he has offered us a very individual tour with places and beaches that we as normal tourists would never have found. For lunch we stopped at Riberia Grande, a typical local restaurant. It was super delicious and a wide range of food from fish to meat in a variety of variants were offered. Even our daughter's extra requested (dessert) was discussed. André has taken a lot of time to explain everything and has a great knowledge of the history politics and the history of the island. It was now the third trip with ACN Tours. For us, there is nothing wrong with the routine and organization of the day. This tour has a very large share of off road roads. The cruising speed was always reasonable whether off the roads or on asphalt. I would only recommend every driver to take glasses with him because in good weather it dusts quite a bit. When we are back on the island we will see what else it is offered in tours. As I said, we have already done both buggy tours and were very satisfied. The attention provided by Ruben was incredible. He tailored the trip to both our preferences and needs, and since it was raining, he had no problem changing our buggy reservation to riding a jeep. Being a native of the island, his knowledge of the landmarks and the culture was really enriching. We can't wait to be back.

This excursion was amazing, riding around and exploring the island in a buggy was a ton of fun! Our guide, Filipe was knowledgeable and friendly, took us to some terrific spots on island! He absolutely added to the 5 star experience! Lunch was delicious! A buffet with many options. I would 100% book another excursion through ANC!
