Bruges explore on your own tour with boat ride

We did the Bruges tour without a guide in the town. We also picked the option with the boat ride. It was great exploring the town on our own. It gave us time to see things at our own pace and to do shopping. We stopped at a couple of different places to try the Belgian waffle and it was excellent. This would be a must try food. Bruges is a lovely medieval city and worth the three hour drive each way.

Great Day Trip in Bruges

Our guide Blanca made this experience easy and enjoyable. Her pace, presentation, and local recommendations made the trip well worth it. Will remember this trip fondly for years.

Great guides in a tourist town

Gabriel was very easy to listen to as he gave us facts and information about Bruges and Amsterdam. Raul was on time and safe as a driver. The town was very touristy but has lots of beautiful old buildings.

The visit is worth it

It is a long tour due to the distance and it is quite a bit of time going and coming, but at least the bus is comfortable. I booked it here despite putting English as the language because I couldn't find it in Spanish and although the guides spoke it, it was done in English. But if it happens to you like it did to us that not everyone understands them, I recommend that you look on other platforms because I saw many tours in Spanish passing by there. Otherwise, I thought the duration was good and the free time was appropriate.

Very professional

Day trip to Bruges with our driver Jose and guide Gabrielle. Had a great day with Gabrielle walking us around the town. His knowledge of the town, the region and its history was amazing and was delivered in a totally professional manner. Would highly recommend this tour company.

Say no to Viator

Viator wouldn't connect me with the tour operator to get instructions on where I needed to go to meet the group. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused. I asked for my money back as the tour operator left me and it was declined. I just submitted a report to the BBB to get my money back. I've been a loyal customer to Viator for YEARS. Not anymore..

No food allowed on bus :(

Even though this was a three hour bus ride that left at 8:30 in the morning, there was no eating a drinking anything besides tea or water on the bus. This was never disclosed in the trip information. We had planned to eat a quick breakfast on the bus on the way to Brugges, but we could not do that. This seems like a bad rule for this long of a bus trip, and we were disappointed.

Tour to Bruges. Great city, Tour guide not so much

I absolutely loved Bruges itself—beautiful canals, charming architecture, and a wonderful atmosphere. The driver, Maritoñi, was also excellent and made the transport part of the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the tour guide, Blanca, kind of spoiled the day for me. She behaved more like an elementary school teacher than a professional adult tour guide. She repeatedly called the group “family” and “familia,” which felt forced and condescending. Instead of simply counting heads like every other tour I’ve taken, she insisted on “calling the list” name by name, expecting everyone to answer as if we were in school. The seating situation was particularly frustrating. She refused to allow any seat changes on the bus and forced passengers to return to their exact original seats—even when two people had already agreed between themselves to swap. That level of rigid control was unnecessary and unpleasant. While her English is fluent, it comes with a very thick accent. Overall, I would never want Blanca as a tour guide again. The destination was lovely and the driver was good, but the guide experience was one I have no interest in repeating. Would have liked that the air conditioner was colder.

Good value but guides need microphones

Beautiful city. Tour guides were knowledgable and friendly but they need some kind of microphone when off the buses. They were difficult to hear in many places within the city.

Brugge in a day

The tour was great but be prepared for a long day of driving (3 hours each way). Our Guide Nico did a good job showing us around.
