Excellent day. Our guide was exceptional. he gave the itinerary clearly before we started out and he stuck to the plan. He dropped us off exactly where he had picked us up first thing in the morning. The length of time in each place I felt was just right. I enjoyed the day out of the city. Go Yours staff made the day simple for tourists. took good care. making a reservation was simple, and everything went as planned. Previous to the the trip I had made contact for some extra information. the email reply person was very considerate and efficient. I appreciated it.
While the van that picked us up was new and comfortable with great air con, I was disappointed with our tour guide. He was friendly and made a few jokes introducing himself and the rules of the day, but unfortunately he was really a driver and not a tour guide. I would have loved historical information about the places visited (outside a few high level facts) and engagement with the group. Additionally while it was fun to listen to an all British playlist in the background, the noise level made it very difficult to grab his attention to learn or ask questions.
our tour guide + driver is super friendly and provided interesting fun facts of the UK on our way to brighton and seven sisters. the weather was perfect and we get enough time to explore the lighthouse up on the top of the seven sisters cliffs. highly recommend this day tour! no admission fees required as we get to explore both brighton and the seven sisters on our own
I had a great time on the Brighton & Seven Sisters tour! Claire provided lots of great insights about the London area as we drove through and the atmosphere at our destinations was very calming and inviting. The small group size was good and the bus was very comfortable. My favourite parts included exploring the boutique shops in Brighton, getting fish and chips, and enjoying the wonderful views. Highly recommend this day trip!
Brighton is such a fantastic place to visit - full of great little shops and good coffee , lively atmosphere and a beautiful clean beach that seems to go on forever. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Seven Sisters. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of time for a nice walk to the lighthouse. Afterwards, you can sit yourself down on the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves. Our driver and guide, was fantastic, providing history and information on the sites we visited. There was ample time to enjoy ourselves. A wonderful day out that I'd recommend to anyone.
Must do! The company is very efficient and our host Rob was very friendly. The views were definitely worth it, I recommend!
We had a wonderful day exploring Brighton and the south downs area of the seven sisters. The weather was very kind to us. We enjoyed walking along Brighton pebble beach with our fish and chips. The pier was closed until midday but we were still able to admire it’s Victorian structure. The on to the Seven Sisters with our very capable driver / guide Robert. We were able to admire the cliffs both from the beach and the top of cliffs at the lighthouse. The sun shining on the seven sisters displayed their full grandeur. We have travelled with go tours over several years and always enjoyed the tours
A friend and I took this tour with our tour guide Len. He was exceptional, and I highly recommend him for his depth of knowledge on English history and in general. The tour of Brighton gave us some two hours, sufficient time to view the pavilion and a bit of the city itself. We then went on to see the white cliffs of Dover, which proved to be surprisingly interesting. The weather in November was cold and blustery, which somehow was very fitting. The GoTour tour van is compact and seats, perhaps 20 people, which makes for an intimate tour experience and the ability to drive into places that the larger tour buses other companies use cannot navigate. I highly recommend this company, and Len in particular. I will be utilizing them in the future when I return to the UK.
Had a great day. Len, our driver and tour guide, was fantastic and full of information on the sites we visited, and on the history of the UK. A small group. We had plenty of time to explore Brighton and Seven Sisters. I enjoyed the walk out on the Brighton Pier, and wandering around The Lanes. Then drove on for lovely views of Seven Sisters.
Our guide Ash was very nice and friendly. He was very helpful and suggested places around our tour we could visit. However the guy who checked us in ( not sure what his name was, had curly hair) was very rude to us. We arrived at 8.21 which was well before the tour start time of 8.25 however since everyone had arrived, he was quite rude about it to us.
