You can't expect much in a poor country. The drive from Falmouth to Bob Marley’s birthplace is mainly interesting because along that narrow road poverty is everywhere; from the potholes in the road to the poorly built homes. At the birthplace eea has been added to make it attractive; a cozy bar and a mausoleum where Bob and his younger brother lie.

It was a long ride from our hotel at Montego Bay but the trip was quite educational. Since it was a private tour, we had a chance to make requests such as stopping at Juici Patti’s, souvenir shopping, had an authentic Jamaican dinner at a nice restaurant and we were not rushed during our tour.

We did a private tour. We went to the Bob Marley museum and then the Blue Hole. Our driver Sean was the best. Had the answers of any question you had about Jamaica. Never rushed you. You could take as much time as you needed. Then after we did those 2 things he took us Scotchies after for some excellent Jerk Chicken. The tour is worth the price. Make sure you ask for Sean to be your guide.
When ever we are in Jamaica Marvyn always takes care of us. Very professional, and so knowledgeable about Jamaica. He has always take care of my family and friends whenever they travel and no one has ever been disappointed!!!
