This awe-inspiring stately home, the current private residence of the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, is perhaps best-known as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Admire the stunning details behind the portraits, tapestry and furniture in the lavishly decorated State Rooms, which includes ornate furniture by Boulle, Savonniere carpet and the iconic 'Victories' series of tapestries celebrating the Duke's victory over the French armies of 'The Sun King', Louis XIV, at the Battle of Blenheim. Enjoy a stroll through the beautifully landscaped formal gardens designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and more than 2,000 acres of parkland, or walk in the footsteps of Sir Winston Churchill. Visit his most cherished outdoor places on the grounds of Blenheim Palace, including the spot where he proposed to Clementine Hozier.
The Cotswolds & Stow-on-the-Wold. After a brief journey through some of the most beautiful countryside in England, we will arrive at our next destination, Stow-on-the-Wold. The Market Square is the heart of the town and a striking example of its historical importance. Surrounded by elegant stone townhouses, independent shops, antique centres, cosy cafés, and traditional inns, the square has been central to Stow’s life for centuries. Highlights include the ancient market cross, medieval market stocks, & the impressive St Edward’s Hall, which stands at the center of the square.
Bampton (the Downton Abbey Village) Nestled in the rolling hills is the quaint village of Bampton. This little traditional English village has most recently been the filming location for the popular period drama television series, Downton Abbey. You'll see the home of Isobel Crawley, the Downton Cottage Hospital, the village church, as well as the location for two fictional local pubs, The Grantham Arms and The Dog & Duck.
London Victoria Train Station Your tour will finish outside London Victoria Train Station, centrally located and easily accessible by national rail and underground, it is serviced by the Victoria, District and Circle Lines and is in Travel Zone 1.

We had the best time on this tour. Simon was an awesome tour guide. You can tell he loves the Cotswold and Blenheim tour by his enthusiasm. My uncle and I enjoyed the villages and the palace. A great day trip from London.

It's a long day but totally worth it. Three activities were all a good experience. Unfortunately there was no actual lunch stop and food available at cafes at Blenheim Palace were not special.

We had the best time exploring the Blenheim Palace gardens in the morning and enjoyed a quick stop in Bampton. Then we spent the afternoon in Stow on Wold in which was the most charming village. We shopped in the antique and book stores and enjoyed classic fish and chips for lunch. The bus ride included AC and wifi and our guide Simon gave a brief history of each place that included witty British humor. It was a very enjoyable day!

Admission fee is reasonable. The tour was about 10 hours long, which is perfect for the trip with few stops. That was more than enough time to enjoy every place we stopped by. Also, the tour Guide Simon and the Driver were amazing and very helpful and organised, perfect balance between guided tour and free time to see the landmarks and go shopping.
