Armenistis Lighthouse (Faros Armenistis) built in 1891 stands in its silence, as a tribute to the rich maritime history of Mykonos island while remaining fully functional today.Its strategic position offers scenic views of the surrounding areas and is well worth visiting to get a sense of the island’s fascinating history and enjoy its spectacular beauty.
Its location on the northern side of the island has established the beach as a windsurfer's paradise, as there is almost always a strong wind blowing. Ftelia is an isolated, very tranquil place and even during the busy Mykonos months of July and August it is not very crowded because it is often quite windy and dusty
The quiet inland village of Ano Mera is home to the restored 16th-century monastery Panagia Tourliani, which houses holy icons and paintings in a whitewashed complex with a striking bell tower and a marble fountain. Bakeries, tavernas, and cafes with outdoor terraces on narrow cobbled streets have a rustic-chic vibe. Walking trails lead into the surrounding landscape of rocky hills and down to nearby beaches.

The beach was named after the small church that is located just above. Extensive views of the channel between Mykonos and Delos are lavishly offered while the sunset from there is also exceptional

My wife and I had an incredible experience on this ATV sunset tour and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Mykonos. Our guide Georgio was amazing from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. He shared interesting history and local insights at each stop, giving us a real appreciation for the island beyond the typical tourist spots. He took us to the most beautiful viewpoints where we could see Mykonos from every angle and watch the sunset! He even offered great photo ideas and even helped us with poses so we could get the perfect shots together. Thanks to him, we left with not just memories—but amazing pictures too!

My tour guide Giorgio was well mannered and provided a great experience whislt touring the Mykonos island. He explained the history and background of each landmark we stopped at which really gave a unique understanding of the Greek culture, adding to the experience.
