Best Athen’s tour.

We were taught about the food and it’s history. We were amazed at how great the whole experience was. The food is just delicious and Yota was brilliant with knowledge of Greece history and culture. We loved it.

Lots of amazing food definitely not hungry anymore

Large portion sizes don’t come unless you’re HUNGRY. The tour was amazing. Good walking distance to all the restaurants and wonderful interesting facts about the food and Greek culture. Would highly recommend

Great exposure to traditional Greek foods

Great way to taste many of the traditional Greek foods and learn about food history. I wish we had done this tour early in our visit because it made understanding the food culture much better for the rest of our trip. The guide was great to talk with as we walked through the beautiful streets of Athens.

Great sampling of Greek foods. Come with an empty stomach.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this food walk today. You get full portions of lots of different foods so come hungry. Our guide was great. She explained about the food, the origins of the food and the neighborhoods we were in. The tour moved right along but was never rushed. Lovely walking speed. It was a great introduction to Greek street food and I’m glad we signed up for it.

A great experience

Had a great time! Our host was very enthusiastic and ensured we all had fun. The food was amazing especially the souvlaki. She also gave us great hints on places to see and things to do, during our stay in Athens.

Do this day 1!

A perfect way to start my Athen trip and what I recommend for everyone to do on day 1. It will keep you from succumbing to sleep and help you get past the jet lag, fill your belly with delicious food, get your bearings, meet new people, learn a little history and culture, and chat with a local to help you decide what you want to do and want to avoid for the rest of your trip. Fotis was a fantastic tour guide, injecting lots of history and language into the tour. Everything we ate was absolute delicious beginning with savory (spanakopita, souvlaki, Greek pizza) and ending with sweet (orange cake w/ ice cream, custard in flaky pastry, and 2 kinds of donuts). It was also a treat to watch the city go from dusk to night and walk by so many historic sites. Highly recommend!
