The tour was informative, and the guide (Jason) was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, his microphone wasn’t working, so none of the guests’ earpieces were working, and we had difficulty hearing what he was saying. Especially because there were multiple tours going on around us, so we had to crowd around him to have any chance of hearing what he was saying.
The tour was fantastic and our guide Kiki was extremely knowledgeable would recommend this to others.
Eleni our guide was amazing!! The right combination of knowledgeable and passionate about The Acropolis and all it has to offer! We were so impressed and learned so much about this historic site!
We had a great time. It was August and hot so we booked the 8 am tour and very glad we did. Our four guide, Ioana (Jo) was really knowledgeable given her background as an archeologist and historian. We learned so much that we wouldn’t have known otherwise and the stops along the way made the climb up very manageable. We did the museum after but that turned out to be a bit too long of a day for the family.
This was the perfect tour to start off my trip. We experienced a variety of quality, traditional Greek food. Our tour guide, Tonya, was perfect. She was mindful of our needs, balanced between the information she presented and giving us space to mingle and enjoy. She was enthusiastic yet sincere, and it was obvious that every local we encountered on our tour adored her ⭐️. I recommended this tour to tourists I encountered before leaving Athens. This one is a must!
Natasha our tour guide was amazing! Her knowledge and passion for the tour and history was excellent! Going at 8am was good as the crowds and temperatures were bad later in the day!
Great inside into the ancient history of Greece. Strenuous walking up hill to the ruins. Make sure you wear good shoes with good grips. Amazing views at the top.
We did the tour at 5pm and it was amazing all due to our phenomenal tour guide Sophia! If you have the opportunity ask specifically for her as she gave us so much detail that she really brought everything we saw to life and gave it meaning. She truly loves the history of these beautiful places and she wants to bring that knowledge and beauty to everyone on the tour. Sophia’s enthusiasm is captivating, plus she is so caring about stopping throughout the tour to find shade on the walk to the top as this is a strenuous climb especially in the heat. Be prepared with water, sunscreen, a hat and some sneakers as you will need something to stop you tripping/slipping. A truly amazing experience with easy check-in and the office is close to the starting point up to the Acropolis. Thank you Sophia we had an amazing time!
My partner and I had a wonderful time on this tour with Vangelis. From the beginning, the logistics were seamless; check-in was easy, and the instructions on where to meet were clear. Vangelis was highly knowledgeable and provided an extensive, detailed tour of the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the associated museum. We felt that having him as a guide added a lot of depth to what we were exploring—it brought the ancient history to life in a way we couldn't have experienced on our own. He was patient with our group (which was mostly Canadian and American, meaning there were no language barriers or communication issues). We were a curious bunch, and even though the tour had a set schedule, Vangelis didn't mind going over time to allow for plenty of interactions and questions. We saw this as a huge positive. He also paced the tour well, making sure we had enough time to take photos at the key sites. As a minor but appreciated detail, we also liked that he was firm when non-paying tourists tried to sneak into our group, ensuring we got the experience we paid for. We highly recommend this tour—it is well worth the price. Definitely do the museum add-on; it elevates the entire experience and adds so much more context to the ruins.
Fantastic and well organised visit. Antonia the tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable but also very caring in the extreme heat, dealing with the crowds and the amount of walking. Glad I pre booked before we went to avoid the queues although it was very busy even arriving early. I did think it was quite expensive for a family of four but worth it.
