One of the best experiences ever

Our guided tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We had more than four hours with our guide, Vangelis, who had an exceptionally extensive knowledge of everything relating to the Acropolis, Ancient Greece, Greek mythology and much more, and managed to convey it all in an incredibly engaging way. We can highly recommend taking a guided tour with Athens- Walks.

Amazing experience! The food and our tour guide exceeded our expectations. There were foods and areas of Athens we got to try that we would not have unless we did this tour.

John the archaeologist - best tour guide

I've visited the acropolis before on my own and with a guided tour but John the archaeologist gave us the best tour I've ever had. He told us an engaging summary of the long history of the hill, connecting the dots between many historical events, and had a great mix of academic insight and story-telling. I will seek him out for future tours.

Exceptional Tour - Must Love History

The tour was wonderful. Scheduled from 4-8 PM. We had a tour of the beautiful museum that provided a foundation of what we were going to see at the Acropolis. The background and museum tour were necessary to understand the historical site, and truly appreciate the marvel of the architectural structures and the preservation work that is being done. 10/10!

Story Book Experience.

Wonderful experience. Our guide could not have been any more knowledgeable. Very professional and spoke good English for us. Going to the top to see the Parthenon there are no words to describe this story book experience.

John was great! We started with the Acropolis Museum to avoid the heat before seeing the Acropolis itself, and he gave a lot of great insight into Greek history and culture at every stop. We thoroughly enjoyed his attention to detail, his humor, and how he personalized the tour by getting to know everyone. It was definitely worth the tour compared to going on our own.
