We spent a highly enjoyable afternoon at Mama’s Roots. Our 6 year old was able to participate in a meaningful and fun way. We learned so much about the history of Greek foods and local customs. We were all so glad we booked this class!

Our cooking class was with Costas in beautiful little shop (Mamas Roots) with a beautiful courtyard where we had the fruits of our labor learned from Costas. He was very knowledgeable and guided us through six recipes that were all very simple and delicious. We had a great time and conversation with Costas while learning about good food.

What an AMAZING experience for our family to learn some Greek recipes in a 100 year old home with a trained Greek chef! (Cheers to Chef Kostas!) our children had the best time and we made some incredible dishes together with memories to last a lifetime. Our children definite cherished this amazing experience and we are excited for new families to enjoy such fun!!

Amazing experience! The recipes were fun to make and fantastic to eat. The teacher was fun to talk to and was very knowledgeable about traditional Greek foods. Eating in the garden was a perfect way to end it. Couldn’t recommend this enough!
This was such a fun and authenticity Greek experience. There were 7 of us and every one felt like it was one of the best things we did in Athens. Great food and beautiful surroundings.
