Itinerary

Admission not included240 min

Meet your guide at the bottom of Antelope Point Launch Ramp (Google Maps). After a brief safety orientation and kayaking instruction, you'll walk down a steep sandy hill to the water. Participants should be physically fit and comfortable on steep terrain. Paddle approximately 30 minutes (1 mile) across Lake Powell to the entrance of Antelope Canyon. Continue paddling another 30–60 minutes deeper into the canyon, surrounded by towering sandstone walls and incredible scenery. At the back of the canyon, pull your kayak onto shore and enjoy a guided hike through the slot canyon. The hike is approximately 1 mile in and 1 mile out, with distance and timing varying based on the group's pace. After the hike, paddle back along the same route to the launch area (about 1–1.5 hours). Depending on weather conditions and your guide, there may be opportunities for swimming, relaxing, or enjoying a snack while taking in the views of Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon.

Better than the pictures.

Pictures don’t do the experience justice. It was just like them and so much more. Serene, beautiful, worth every penny and every physical challenge. Highly suggest that you come physically ready for the paddling and steep rugged slippery climb down to the kayaks and back up again. Lastly, a little knowledge on how to paddle and steer. Got all that, and best tour of our 6 day adventure. Don’t recommend for the physically unfit. (We were borderline, thus the friendly suggestion) Ian was a fabulous guide! So laidback and gracious with anyone’s struggles. Very Knowledgeable.

Great experience!

What an awesome time! From start to finish, it was fun, challenging, and informative. Love our guide, Ben’s personality and the information he shared. The kayaking was great. We saw ducks and beautiful sights and the cool water hitting us every once in a while was refreshing. The skis and boats passing by did make the kayaking more challenging but we made it! I will say the hike was tougher than we thought it would be (heat and distance). Keep in mind, you’re hiking on hot sand! We came prepared with hiking shoes, water and sun hats and Ben brought us extra waters and kept our energy up with good conversation. He took beautiful photos of us as well. I was between lower antelope canyon and booking this experience and I’m so glad we booked this adventure. Thank you!

Excellent choice of tour

Fun informative kayak with Ben as our guide (who was awesome!). The hike we went to was nice but only moments of shade, use plenty of sunblock, wear hat, bring lots of water. The hike has deep sand to trek. Beautiful viewing

Lowest canyon views

Kaitlin was our guide. She is easy going and knowledgeable. Kayak was enjoyable. Hiking in sand packed trail through canyon at this time of year was not easy. Other than the heat, it was enjoyable.

Perfectly varied land/water outing!

We had an absolutely great time! The combination of kayaking, hiking, and swimming was perfect. It broke the activities up so we didn’t get too tired during the whole 4 hours, and it gave a great, well-rounded experience in the canyons and in the water. Ian was a great guide, and gave us a great hiking tip nearby, as well, for our next day in the area. Couldn’t recommend this enough.

A bucket list destination with beautiful views! We loved the hike and our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The water was cold but refreshing, the kayaking was a workout for sure, definitely worth the money and time spent
