Come onboard of our classic private saloon boat for the Amsterdam Light Festival boat tour which takes place from yearly from end of November till mid January. Discover the lightened sculptures from a variety of artists while floating through the canals. Bring your friends, family or children to this amazing light festival boat tour and explore together the artistic light objects and their meanings. Our captain which is also the guide will know the history of the art objects as well as key facts of the artist. The private boat is one of a few which has the floating monument status in Amsterdam. Due to its historic character, built in 1912, earlier serving as a passenger transport boat between East and West Germany, this boat has unique history. Unlike other boat tours, this tour includes a welcome drink and has an intimate setting with your own group up to 8 people. The captain is a real local and stands for excellent service during the Amsterdam light festival boat tour.

The boat was beautiful and larger than expected. It really can comfortably seat 12 adults. The captain also exceeded expectations. In addition to being extremely nice he narrated the experience with interesting explanations of the art installations we were seeing. I highly recommend.

The Udine is a beautiful and intimate saloon boat; it was neatly ready for us at the agreed boarding time. Our captain turned out to be an enthusiastic young man who did not hesitate to join the conversation when asked. He has sailed us around with his knowledge and skills excellently. Amazing cruise. The boat was lovely and the captain was knowledgeable, kind and adjusted the tour perfectly for us. We've seen a loft of the interested areas and had great opportunities for photos that the captain pointed out in advance. Highly recommend booking!

The tour itself is amazing, so many things to see and having someone there to personally explain everything is so good. Our captain was so knowledgeable and nice he knew all the information behind the light exhibits and loads of information about Amsterdam and the canals generally. I actually used this trip to propose to my (now) fiancé! It’s such a nice, intimate and romantic evening would recommend to any couples seeking something a little more personal and special.

Excellent choice for a tour of the canals... it's the second time I've relied on Boatboys and I've always had a good time! Good explanations along the way, young and always friendly guys... small boats, well maintained and very comfortable! Highly recommended Some doubts about the Light Festival: I thought there were more installations for what is advertised! The canal tour is still interesting to see the city from another perspective
