Itinerary
The reason the houses in Amsterdam are tilted is because of the soil. The city is built on marshlands, which means that everything heavy sinks right into the soil. Therefore, we started to build upon wooden poles to reach a deeper and more sturdy layer of soil that could support the heavy houses.
The Southern Church is another beautiful church designed by Hendrick de Keyser. It was built in between 1603 - 1611.
Today this area is known as the “Stopera”, a combination of STadhuis (Cityhall in Dutch) and Opera. Together they form the Stopera!
After the Thorbecke bridge you will see the famous 7 Bridges! If you are lucky, and there are no other boats, you can see 7 identical stone bridges in a row.
Admire the stunning mansions along the Golden Bend of the Herengracht, a place renowned for its historical grandeur and lavish architecture.
Explore the beauty of Amsterdam from the water as you cruise along the picturesque Amstel River, which has been a lifeline of the city for centuries.

Disorganised - Staff were working against each other managing crowds making it confusing for customers attempting to board the correct boat. Confrontational - Staff were seen to be confrontational to confused customers, also confronted me to ask if I wanted the number for head office as I seemed ‘unhappy’ with the seating arrangements despite no complaint being made. Staff also confrontational with each other. Tour lacked information in comparison to a previous tour completed but information provided was fine.
Thanks to Marlie she made my experience on the boat very good Keep doing what you do, you are amazing

Joëll & Frank Good expirience and funny moments
Lovely boat tour, the cheese and wine was conveniently wafted in front of our faces despite not having it included in our ticket - it was rather tempting if I say so myself! The guides told us some interesting facts but I do wish they told us more information rather than gossiping amoung one another.
Emmely, Veerle and captain Hans B were fantastic. Super knowledgeable and you could tell how much they loved their city. All three were charismatic and engaging and always made sure my Heineken was full. Would recommend to anyone wanting a laidback but very enjoyable afternoon!
We had our bout tour with Vincent and Tobias. They were truly amazing !!! I enjoyed the tour so much. I will recommend it to everyone
