Hand is very nice and courteous . He brought us to nice places and is very accommodating. He made suggestions as to what is best for us and is very mindful of our needs.
Tour was in a van, during a day of cold, windy rain. Thus, it was a perfect way to learn about, and to see, the city of Amsterdam and the country side, in a warm, dry manner. The tour operator was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the history, culture, and people of Holland. Seeing the countryside was especially enjoyable since it is totally different from the “big city” life. And the stop at a cheese maker place was especially tasty!! Seeing a windmill up close, and learning about its true purpose, was also especially memorable!! This tour gave us a more complete picture of Holland’s life and culture!! Highly recommend, especially on rainy days when other things to do are limited by the weather!
Never would have gone to these charming towns without Hans! We loved seeing the outskirts of the city and learning a little history. He was so lovely and genuine.
Hans was super patient, waiting for us at the airport despite delays in the flight. He was very knowledgeable and catered our private tour to what we wanted. We visited several places learning about the land reclamation and history of the country including the Amsterdam defence line and the scenic Broek in Waterland. We enjoyed the tour and Hans’s warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
Thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed the tour with you two very much. During my private tour we were able to see indepth the countryside villages and it’s history. Especially Broek in Waterland is a hidden gem, still undiscovered by tourists. We made a prefect walk with a visit to the Dutch Reformed Church. Perhaps see you again in our beautiful Low Lands. Hans.
We had Hans for two days of touring Amsterdam and the Country Side. He took us to see a Windmill and a Cheese farm among other beautiful spots. There were seven us us one day and six the other day. We enjoyed all our time with Hans and highly recommend him. Some of the group had used him in 2016 when we visited Amsterdam. He also got us tickets to see Anne Frank House. Hans is very easy going, speaks excellent english and is very knowledgeable. He will take you wherever you want to go no problem.
Thank you very much for your kind words. It is important for future visitors to Amsterdam to realise how difficult it is to get tickets for the Anne Frank House. Online sale start on the first Tuesday of the following month. Of course I can book the tickets as well. Hans.
Hans was able to pick up our party of six at the airport in his spacious van and took us on a personalized tour of the countryside. We were able to find great places and tours that matched our wants and needs in our vacation. We were never rushed and found great sights to start our Dutch adventure. We visited Appledorn and the Zuider Zee museum along with stops along the way. I would recommend Hans to help you find a great day adventure on your vacation.
Thank you for the review and sorry for the late response. To see our Dutch heritage and your family roots I enjoyed the day very much. Especially the visit to the Zuiderzee Museum gives an insight of everyday life in Holland. Greetings to your family, Hans.
Hans Langh took us a 1/2 day tour of the countryside in Amsterdam which we very much enjoyed, as well he arranged for a canal cruise which was wonderful. He is truly a professional and helped my handicapped husband to get on the boat. He is very knowledgeable and we would highly recommend his services. Great service. Mike& Illa Maher
Dear Mike and Illa, Sorry for the late response but I remember the Amsterdam canal cruise as a highlight. The Blue Boat company does a lot to the special needs of travellers with disabilities by providing more services. Without reservation they gave us preference to access the canal cruise boat. With the help of your grandson and the special canal cruise lift our canal cruise was a great experience. Hans Langh.
