Great way to plan a trip

Everything we did with Viator was wonderful. Very good communication with them. We had a problem communicating with our driver yesterday and they were very helpful in resolving the issue.

I had a great experience,...

I had a great experience, but it was a bit crowded at the Acropolis (as expected). I would caution, it is an extremely difficult walk to the top for the elderly or anyone with issues.

Independent visit.

Nice visit but be careful it is not real virtual reality! You use your own phone and headphones, and you are sent a link to follow a video that traces the history and reconstructs these remains.

Really fun, and chilled.

Such an amazing place to see, I'll never forget it. The Parthenon is so much more impressive in real life. The customer service was great, and the Virtual Reality audio tour was great too, because we were able to take our time to wander around and to see how it used to look in the virtual reconstructions. The map and route also was helpful to know where to go.

unique experience

Visiting the Acropolis was truly one of the most memorable parts of my time in Athens. No matter how many photos you’ve seen beforehand, nothing compares to actually being there. From the top, the panoramic view of the city is breathtaking — Athens spreads out beneath you, with the sea shimmering in the distance. I chose to go early in the morning to beat both the heat and the crowds, which turned out to be a great decision. The walk up isn’t too difficult, but comfortable shoes are a must, and bringing water is a good idea since the stone paths can be slick. At the summit, standing in front of the Parthenon and the surrounding ancient temples feels almost surreal. It’s amazing to think about how many centuries these structures have endured. The atmosphere is calm and reflective, especially if you take a moment to sit quietly and take it all in. The Acropolis Museum nearby is also well worth visiting — its modern design and cool interior provide valuable context and help bring the site’s history to life.
