In the evening, we decided to take the tour of Machu Picchu with a German-speaking guide. Through the website MachuPicchuCenter, we submitted the application and paid, without knowing if it would work out. After about 90 minutes, we knew that a suitable guide had been found. The meeting point was at 7:50 AM at our hotel. Darwin, our guide, was punctual to the second, and we then went straight up by bus. During our tour, we learned so much that we couldn't stop being amazed. Just before noon, and with over 300 pictures, our guided tour on the circular path 2B was over, and it was never boring at any time.
The trip was amazing, totally worth the money we spent. it was a long day and we had very complex transportation methods to get there. But the organization of the trip was fantastic. From hotel pick up, taxi, bus, train, and shuttle bus to the Machu Picchu, then vice versa, each connection was seamless and well planned. Our private tour guide, Gregory was great and was very knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu. He gave us an unforgettable tour inside Machu Picchu. Gregory was also a wonderful photographer. He took a lot of precious pictures and videos for us. We enjoyed our trip very much. What a topnotch service. I highly recommend this tour to other travelers who want to visit Machu Picchu.
We missed our online booking window, but MachuPichu center made sure we got to see it. They were super responsive and when things didn’t go exactly as planned , they were quick ti pivot and ensure we had a safe and fulfilling trip. They were with us every step of the way, we never felt the stress os a multiple step tour

Highly recommend this amazing private tour of the Ancient City through Machu Picchu Center The response from the company was very prompt and helpful. The booking process from the website was smooth. I think for four of us, the price was reasonable. An agent from the company greeted us at Aguas Calientes train station (very kind) and an English speaking colleague of her gave us easy and exact instructions for us to take the bus to Machu Picchu. Edwin (Señor Borda Castilla Edwin) was our guide who met up with us in front of the entrance. We have had many private and group tour guides at various places, and I must say that Edwin is one of the best guides we have experienced. He was so kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. My wife and I had so many questions and he took the time to answer them thoroughly. My in-laws spoke no English and Edwin was so patient with us when we try to interpret for them. I let him know that my mother-in-law had a recent heart procedure and he made sure to give us frequent breaks and slow down the pace when needed. He knew all the photo spots and took some amazing photos for us. So go with Edwin. Go with Machu Picchu Center.

I would highly recommend Machu Picchu center as they are well knowledgeable and have a pool of network to coordinate and provide good deals for various activities we requested.. we are a group of 11 people who have different interests and they are able to build a trip according to each of our interests. We had tickets for Machu Picchu train but the train engine failure on Dec25 resulted in schedule impact. Fransico helped to schedule a mini bus within 30 minutes to catch a train from sacred valley station. This is really a miracle for us as Peru rail not able to accommodate this request but fransico from Machu Picchu center able to accommodate. This shows how committed this company to avoid cascading affect to our planned activities that will be impacted

Dear MachuPicchu Center Team, We are writing to express our serious dissatisfaction with the guide provided for our tour of Machu Picchu on November 19th. While we want to acknowledge that the general organization of the trip was good, the actual guided experience was poor and ultimately a waste of our time. We specifically opted for a private tour because we wanted to gain as much information as possible about the site; however, it became clear that we were assigned an inexperienced guide. There was a significant language barrier, as the guide spoke no English and had to rely on phone translation to communicate. Consequently, the tour was cut short, lasting only one hour and thirty minutes instead of the expected two hours or more. Throughout the circuit 3, the guide focused almost exclusively on taking pictures rather than providing historical context. When we asked questions, they were never properly answered; we were met either with "I don't know" or with unreasonable explanations, such as her description of a storage house. This lack of knowledge and communication resulted in a tour filled with awkward silences rather than the professional insight we paid for. Based on our experience we cannot recommend the private guided tour, as it failed to meet even the basic standards of a professional guide. I hope you will address this issue to prevent future guests from having a similar negative experience.

Every thing was good except the taxi service from Hotel to bus station.The taxi service was not on time and need waiting too long time,experience not so good.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I booked last minute Machu Picchu tickets and was really worried we wouldn’t get them. However it was made so easy. The company s communication was great and easy. We received our train and bus tickets promptly and were met from the train by our guide who took us through the process of getting the tickets. There was no issues at all and no long queues. We were guided to the bus and taken up to Machu Picchu. Once there we had an amazing tour by our fantastic and knowledgeable private guide. I can honestly say this exceeded any expectation I had and was so simple.
