2 1/4 hr Low Isles Reef Sprinter Snorkeling Tour-No Island Access
Description
This tour goes for 2 ¼ hours. It takes 15 minutes to get out there on a fast, fun speed boat with maximum of 14 people, snorkel for 1.5 hrs at our exclusive mooring located at Low Isles reef, one of just a few exclusive permits allowed to enter this WORLD HERITAGE green zone sensitive site. Then a 15 minute trip home. The reef that we visit on Option A is very protected and has a vast quantity of corals and abundant fish species, with green turtles . On this tour there is no island access, you snorkel from the back of the boat. We own two exclusive permits right on the reef edge that allows just our 2 Reef Sprinter boats to visit this reef meaning there are no crowds at all! See spectacular corals, turtles, and fish life only 15 minutes from Port Douglas and you won’t get seasick.

This was a fabulous trip and it was a great length for a snorkel and then return to shore. We even saw Mantarays and reef sharks so we were very lucky
Low isles was outstanding. Had booked outer reef, but weather changed plan. Not disappointed. Lots of coral, all sorts of fish. Highlights were turtles (swam alongside in shallow water), friendly reef sharks and some Māori wrasse. Best trip yet.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Such a great option if you don’t want to spend a whole day travelling and want to make the most out of a trip. 15 mins to the reef and plenty of time to discover when you are there - I can’t count how many species of fish I saw and was amazed by how many clams there were. Relaxed snorkel with a noodle and fun ride there and back, what’s not to like?

The whole experience was excellent value for money. The fast boat is not for the feint hearted but well worth it to get out to low isles in only 15 minutes. The snorkeling was incredible, we saw so many beautiful fish and even a shark. There is a great amount of time to snorkel- if not wetsuit time, suggest wear an extra rash top or something to keep a bit warmer. Professionally run tour and an all round great experience!

That is good advice if you are not use to extended times in cooler water temperatures (average 25-26°C in May). Please visit us again soon!
This was a fabulous experience. It was well organised, good communication, safe and lots of fun! Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys snorkeling and being out on the water.
A great experience, with knowledgable & friendly guides. Equipment was modern and easy to use. Guides gave clear directions and we were able to see Turtles, colourful fish and coral and a visit from some black tip sharks. Enjoyed 1.15hrs in the water. A great experience.
