Amazing experience on the outer reef. Water couldn't have been clearer and sea couldn't have been calmer, so about the best snorkeling experience ever. Huge variety of sea life: lots of fish, giant clams, sharks, octopus, mother & calf humpback whale, turtles, and more types of coral than ice ever seen. Marine biologist was good, but only about 20 minutes of info; I would've enjoyed much more. Food was reasonable, but not amazing. Wet suits and snorkel gear in good condition. Best part: a quick fresh-water shower to rinse off the salt before returning to PD.
Amazing experience and would highly recommend. We saw lovely colourful coral, amazing fish plus a white tipped reef shark. Dolphins were racing in the waves. Lovely food and hot beverages provided throughout the day. Thank you all for a wonderful day. I would suggest to bring something warm to wear in between travelling to the different reefs as you can get cold after the first snorkel and we had 3 in total even though the sun was shining and we had hot weather.
Very professional setup. Service was excellent as was the catering. Great dive sites with knowledgeable staff and we saw quite a few humpback whales on the way back. Would definitely recommend this trip.
Couldn't fault it. Great food, great boat. Great helpful staff, the reef was amazing too see all the fish.
We had a great day out with Calypso, half of our party snorkeling and half did the introductory dive. Our instructor Ruth was fantastic, patient and knowledgeable taking great care of us for both dives. I really like the smaller boat and plenty of staff around to help. It was great that the snorkelers also got wetsuits, the water was not warm enough to be enjoyable without them. The sites we visited were very good, lots of colorful fish, saw giant clams, some turtles, and was sheltered once you got out to the reef, not crowded by loads of snorkeling tourists. Highly recommend this company.
Excellent tour, amazing crew and felt very lucky to see a heap of whales on our trip thanks to Jorg for stopping so we could get a good look at them!!!
We did the morning Lowe island snorkeling tour. Staff are amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it
The sea was very rough and I got quite sea sick despite taking tablets. This meant I wasn't able to enjoy the trip and couldn't properly participate with the snorkelling/introductory dive. I am sure the trip would have been great if it wasn't for the rough sea conditions - my poor rating isn't a reflection on the staff or the activity just the experience I had on the day.
This is, without any doubt, one of the highlights of my life. We were extremely lucky with the weather, I must say that. The waters were so clear, the corals were just so pretty, and we even swam with a turtle! The crew was very friendly, really enjoyed the “chat” from Freya.
Crew was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our three stops for snorkeling were all amazing. Totally worth it!
