Let's take a peak into a brown bar that has been serving sailors for over 400 years.
Writers, students, bookworms, and artists gather on Spui market especially on weekends. It's authentically Amsterdam, and the perfect place to visit an excellent fishmonger.

We will point out where to find a 15th century hidden garden with a secret house church! If time allows it - we can even peek inside.
Flower Market (Bloemenmarkt) – Stroll past Amsterdam’s world-famous floating flower stalls on the Singel Canal, where tulips bulbs and blooms brighten the city year-round. Note: Most tours include this stop, but every guide’s route is unique.
Warm stroopwafels fresh off the iron at a 200-year-old family bakery, one of the oldest in the city. Better than Belgian waffles? You'll be the judge.
Get a glimpse of the 400 year old royal palace where the house of Orange once lived.
Join us on a mouthwatering journey through Amsterdam's canals and the vibrant 9 streets! Our passionate local foodies will guide you through intriguing tales that connect scrumptious dishes to the city's historic roots. Taste the meaning of "Dutch Courage" in a centuries old "Brown" Pub famous for it's apple pie and local beer. Cheers to a great tour.
Discover the enchanting Jordaan district of Amsterdam, renowned for its cozy brown cafés. Immerse yourself in the rich history as you savor the heavenly delight of poffertjes, fluffy miniature pancakes drenched in butter. Treat yourself to this delightful experience and raise a glass of local brews to complete your unforgettable journey trough Dutch food culture!
Anne Frank House (Ask guide if walk by) – See one of Amsterdam’s most moving landmarks, where the famous diary was written during WWII. Note: Most tours pass by or end within walking distance, but every guide’s route is unique.

Chaas did a great tour of Dutch influenced foods and beverages
Kees was a fantastic tour guide and really made the experience. Great way to kick off our trip to Amsterdam.
Excellent tour! Kaas was a fantastic guide. Would come again!
Todd was a marvellous guide! He had great energy and was super caring to an elderly guest in our group. The tour itself was very well planned and thought through. A great way to start a Sunday morning exploring the city and eating your way around.
Great experience with Dennis and great food over Amsterdam. Lovely learning the history and eating along the way. Dennis took us to great places and was very friendly. Would recommend.
Very lovely tour with incredible tastings! The tour guide was amazing and humorous- Dennis is awesome!
Dennis is amazing. He showed us a great time and took us to a lot of lovely spots about town. I was worried that this would be a repeat of our history walking tour yesterday but it was completely different.
Excellent knowledge of food and Amsterdam. Excellent tour!
Everything was wonderful from booking through the tour. Communication was top notch including when they needed to change the time of our tour. They had some cancellations that meant we wound up being the only 2 people at our tour - lots of companies would have cancelled and moved us to a different time so o really appreciated the fantastic customer service we received! Our guide Dennis was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the food as well as Amsterdam in general. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely book with them again!
Dennis was engaging and full of local knowledge. He was also well received by people along our tour speaking to his relationships. We had a great time tasting cheese, liquor and spirits, herring and other local flavors.
