Der Garni-Tempel ist ein hellenistischer Tempel aus dem 1. Jahrhundert in der Provinz Kotayk in Armenien. Es ist der einzige erhaltene griechisch-römische Tempel in der ehemaligen Sowjetunion und eines der berühmtesten Wahrzeichen Armeniens.
Ein bedeutender Teil des Klosterkomplexes ist in die Kalksteinfelsen der Azat-Flussschlucht gehauen, was es zu einem außergewöhnlichen Beispiel für felsgehauene Architektur macht. Einige Kirchen und Gräber sind komplett aus dem Berg gehauen und bieten eine einzigartige und mystische Atmosphäre.
