Viele wissen, dass Armenien das erste christliche Land der Welt ist. 301 wurde Grigor offiziell aus dem Gefängnis der Hauptstadt entlassen, das zuvor hier war. Er war hier 13 Jahre wegen seines christlichen Glaubens inhaftiert. Als letzte Hoffnung des kranken Königs heilte er ihn, woraufhin der König das Christentum als Staatsreligion akzeptierte. Gleichzeitig eröffnet sich von hier aus der beste Blick auf den Berg Ararat. Ganz in der Nähe von Ararat zu sein gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, die gesamte Struktur des Berges zu sehen und seine Schönheit zu bewundern.
Mittelalterlicher armenischer Geschmack und architektonisches Talent vermischten sich in Noravank, gegründet im 9. Jahrhundert, dieses Kloster entwickelte sich im 13. und 14. Jahrhundert. Umgeben von hohen, rot gefärbten Bergen und aus Steinen dieser Felsen gebaut, ergänzt Noravank harmonisch die lokale Landschaft und bleibt in seiner Art einzigartig.
In Jermuk angekommen, sehen wir uns den Wasserfall an. Der 68-70 Meter hohe "Meerjungfrauenzöpfe" Wasserfall erzählt uns die Legende einer verbotenen Liebe. Nach dieser Legende verflucht ein Prinz seine Tochter, weil sie ihren Geliebten getroffen hat, und dann verwandelt sie sich in Stein. Ihr Haar fließt immer noch in Form von Wasser, weshalb der Wasserfall den Namen "Meerjungfrauenzöpfe" erhält.
Am Ende der Tour besuchen wir das Zentrum der Weinherstellung im Dorf Areni, wo wir von der Weinfabrik Areni bewirtet werden. Unsere Gäste können verschiedene Arten von armenischen Weinen probieren, einschließlich der aus Arenitrauben hergestellten. Wir werden auch den Keller sehen, wo die Weine gelagert werden, und im Obergeschoss gibt es ein schönes Café.

The trip to Jermuk with driver Arman exceeded all expectations! We want to express huge gratitude to Arman for his highest professionalism and comfort. The road to Jermuk is winding, but thanks to his careful and confident driving, we felt completely safe throughout the journey. Arman is not just an excellent driver, but also a wonderful person. He told us the best viewpoints, advised where to try the most delicious local food, and shared interesting facts about the resort. The car was in impeccable condition: clean, comfortable, and with air conditioning. If you are planning a trip to Jermuk, we sincerely recommend contacting Arman.

A Wonderful Experience and Exceptional Support I had a really enjoyable experience on this day trip. The tour was very well organised, with a great balance between sightseeing, interesting information from the guide, and enough free time to enjoy each of the places we visited. The itinerary felt well paced throughout the day, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Our tour guide was Satine Kyarunts. She was knowledgeable, approachable and attentive, and she did a great job of making the day enjoyable while also giving us plenty of interesting information about the places we visited. The transportation was comfortable as well, and overall the tour was very easy and pleasant to follow. Unfortunately, I had an accident during the trip and sustained an injury, which was obviously an unexpected and stressful situation. What really impressed me was how professionally and compassionately the tour guide responded. She immediately took the situation seriously and started coordinating with the relevant medical services to make sure I could receive appropriate care as quickly as possible. The driver was also incredibly helpful and took me to the nearest medical facility. At the same time, the rest of the group was able to continue the planned programme with another guide, so the situation was managed incredibly efficiently without unnecessarily affecting their experience. I felt genuinely looked after throughout the process, and both the guide and driver were incredibly supportive and empathetic. For me, this was particularly important because you only really see the quality and professionalism of a tour operator when something unexpected happens. In this situation, the team handled everything calmly, quickly and with genuine care. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour. It was a very enjoyable and well-organised experience, and I was especially grateful for the kindness, professionalism and support of our tour guide when I needed it most.

Long tour, but enough time to explore the different sites. For lunch I would advise a location with a nice view, not a typical food court along the road.

This was one of my best trips. Professional team, well-organized and very safe. The guide Lili was beyond knowledgeable and helpful. - The itinerary is ambitious but also leaves relatively little time at each site. - Lunch stop was at an awful food court hangar. - Wine tasting totally underwhelming — they poured so little in the glass you could barely sense the wine (which turned out to be undrinkable, anyway). This stop should be entirely cut out. - Air conditioning in the car wasn’t functioning. This is unacceptable for a mid-summer excursion.
