An activity that if it comes is expensive for Uzbekistan prices, we found very useful to know very difficult to access wines outside Uzbekistan. Who guided the tasting, gave us very good information and we tasted 10 drinks between wines and spirits. The museum is very nice and is a differential activity. Highly recommended.
Hi Ernesto. How are you, thank you so much for your visit to Uzbekistan and to wine testing in Samarkand
This was very overpriced. The wine tasting lasted about 20 minutes and there wasn’t a lot of information given. There was a display room next to the tasting room with had a lot of artifacts about Uzbek wine tasting, but we didn’t get any descriptions of them and the plaques were not in English, so we couldn’t read them on their own. I think $50-$60 would have been a more appropriate price. For the price we paid, the two of us could have purchased almost of the of the bottles we tasted from a local store.
Dear customer, it depends on what smell you felt, 96% of our customers are always satisfied with this tasting.
Great service and experience from beginning to end. Really delicious wines and spirits we tried, would recommend to anyone for a different experience of Uzbekistan culture!
I am so impressed they held my tour, as I was the only person that signed up, due to holiday schedule. It was my only opportunity to taste the local wines and drink, hearing more about the flavors and tastes. The cheese, nuts and crackers were helpful between the tastings. I really enjoyed this opportunity. Thank you.
Thank you so much for request. You are always welcome
What a great experience! Tasted 7 different wines and 3 cognac. They have explained the wine’s origin well! Highly recommended 👌🏼
Hi how are you, we are really happy that you liked our Uzbek wines..... you are always welcome!
I was expecting a visit to a winery along with the history of winemaking in Uzbekistan and some historical information or anecdotes. Instead you are made to sit in a room with ten glasses (7 medium-low quality wines), 2 brandies and 1 amaro. A lady in somewhat broken English explains them to you, you taste them and it's finished. Having done the tasting in mid-afternoon, practically on an empty stomach, if you're not careful you'll come out "wrong". Honestly, a disappointment.
Hi how are you Who are you we don't know about you, we think you are not booked your wine testing by Viator. If you booked by Viator it must be an other positive idea...
Fun wine tasting of 9 different Uzbek wines, 2 cognacs, and 1 liqueur! Would definitely recommend!!!
Hi Alexander Thank you so much for visiting to Uzbekisran as you told our wine and cognacs are similare as well in your country USA !!!
The tasting provided some interesting wines, in a beautiful tasting room with a pleasant host. My only two criticisms are that the tasting was a bit rushed and there was virtually no wines available for sale. We booked through Viator and the guided transportation was a bit of a disaster and extremely overpriced. I highly recommend that if you want to go to this wine tasting, book directly and walk or taxi there on your own.
HWe always do excellent service from us for our all customersi your wrote not reality, we do our services always
The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but didn’t give any history to the wine. She explained the grape and the alcohol percentage but no further information. Tour lasted around 40 minutes. At the end only one of the bottles of wine was able to purchase not our favourite.
We were picked up by our lovely tour guide from Registan Square and taken to the Wine Factory. A beautiful dining room to enjoy a spread of 10 wines. A few little snacks were included (local cheese, crackers, raisins and nuts). The wine experts were very knowledgeable but moved quite fast through the wines. Overall, a wholesome experience and I would recommend this activity.
Hi Sylvia thank you so much for your request and for your trip to Uzbekistan , Samarkand!
