Abholung vom Hotel und Fahrt zum Arch of Charents
Der Arch of Charents, ein poetisches Tor zur Seele Armeniens! Dieser monumentale Bogen wurde 1957 erbaut und einem der größten Dichter Armeniens, Yeghishe Charents, gewidmet. Während der Bogen selbst minimalistisch gestaltet ist, liegt die wahre Magie in der Aussicht: An klaren Tagen bietet sich ein atemberaubender Panoramablick auf den Berg Ararat.
Geghard ist ein mittelalterliches Kloster in der Provinz Kotayk in Armenien, das teilweise aus dem angrenzenden Berg gehauen ist, umgeben von Klippen. Es gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe mit erhöhtem Schutzstatus.
Es wird gesagt, dass dieses Naturdenkmal das Ergebnis des Zusammenbruchs des Vulkangesteins ist. Das Denkmal besteht aus riesigen paradox symmetrischen sechseckigen und fünfeckigen Basaltsäulen (fast 50 Meter hoch). Diese gegen die Schwerkraft hängenden Steine ähneln einer Orgel, weshalb sie auch als „Basalt-Orgelpfeifen“ bezeichnet wird.
Der Tempel von Garni ist das einzige stehende griechisch-römische Säulengebäude in Armenien und der ehemaligen Sowjetunion. Es wurde im ionischen Orden erbaut und befindet sich im Dorf Garni, in Zentralarmenien, etwa 30 km östlich von Eriwan. Es ist die bekannteste Struktur und Symbol des vorchristlichen Armenien.

We took a tour to see the sights around Yerevan, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We truly loved the service — everything was well organized and comfortable.
