Ultimative Daintree Rainforest Wildlife Experience Cruise

The tour guide was very knowledgable! I loved listening to him. We saw crocs abd a kingfisher and a treesnake. The reception is lovely, with tee and krackers. The employees were so nice.

We've been visiting the Daintree for nearly 40 years and always join a tour with Daintree River Cruises. Our family, and the friends we take along, all love it. We remember the company's founder, Lee, with great fondness - what an excellent and passionate guide he was. Kianna is keeping things just as they were - low key and respectful of the river ecosystem - which is lovely. The guides are knowledgable and tuned into all the wldlife, not just the crocs. Highly recommended.

Our first cruise on the Daintree river despite having many holidays in Port Douglas over the years. We booked online and drove to the lovely centre right on the river surrounded by the rainforest. Our guide was excellent informing us about the river and the history of the 5 crocodiles we saw on the banks. The stories really made this tour interesting. He knew where each croc came from, their girlfriends/boyfriends and their habits. We were enthralled for the duration. Great value for money.

Absolutely beautiful stunning spot! The tour was well organised, and the venue is easy to find with relaxed atmosphere. Likely due to the spring, the crocs were easy to view. The tour guide is very knowledgeable. We arrived earlier and they accommodated us to an early session on the spot without any hassles. Totally worth the value. 🤩

Very informative , value for money and we saw quite a few crocs and birds. We were early and the lovely girl behind the counter served us a cup of tea and biscuits. Highly recommend this tour.

well organized, crocodiles seen

arrived slightly earlier for the tour. we were given a lovely cup of coffee and biscuits. we were shown the lovely garden where we were entertained by many birds visiting the trees, birdsong glorious. our tour started on time and we were lucky to spot many birds, saltwater crocodiles and a Common Tree snake. Our guide for the day was very accomodating in getting the boat in the right position for all to get photos. The information about the animals, birds and reptiles that was imparted by Steph our guide was top shelf. He was also very tolerant and answered all questions completely.

We booked a private river cruise (10 people) with Daintree River Cruise Centre. They were very accommodating with timing and got us out on the river earlier as we had arrived a bit early. We were concerned that we might not see that much wildlife because of the weather (rainy), but we saw a bunch of crocs and a lot of birds, including a beautiful kingfisher. Our guide was knowledgeable and experienced, shared lots of stories, answered all of our questions, and understood how to keep safe on the river.
