Kommen Sie zu uns auf ein Abenteuer, bei dem Sie persönlich durch das Hochland von einem geborenen und gezüchteten Hochland-Mädchen und vollqualifizierten erfahrenen Reiseleiter geführt werden Begleiten Sie uns, wenn wir uns nach Süden wagen und Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle (Urquhart Castle, falls geschlossen) Loch Ness, Wardlaw Mausoleum, Highland Cows und vielleicht sogar Jamie Fraser besuchen, wenn Sie Glück haben. Vermeiden Sie den Trubel einer größeren Reisebusgruppe und touren Sie in unserem 16-Sitzer-Kleinbus durch das Hochland. Wir versuchen, das Beste aus Ihrem Tag herauszuholen, damit die Abfahrtszeiten um 9.00 Uhr beginnen. Während einige der Touren nicht rollstuhlgerecht sind, versuchen wir unser Bestes zu bieten. ROLLSTUHLBENUTZER & KINDERWAGEN Wir BENÖTIGEN HINWEIS, da wir auf dem Gepäckplatz beschränkt sind, müssen wir im Voraus wissen, ob Sie Gehhilfen/Kinderwagen auf einer unserer Touren mitnehmen.

Wage es, die Steine anzufassen? Wir sind nicht versichert, wenn Sie in die Zeit bis 1746 zurückreisen. Besuchen Sie die Steine, wo alles begann für Outlander. Mit über 4000 Jahren haben sie einige Geschichten zu erzählen.
Das Hochlandleben veränderte sich auf eben diesem Feld am 16. April 1746 für immer, wo die letzte Schlacht zwischen den hannoverschen Soldaten und gemästeten Jakobiten ausgetragen wurde. Wir führen Sie auf dieser besonderen Tour durch die gefettete Stelle.
Ursprünglich im Mittelalter erbaut, geht dieser Bereich auf das 6. Jahrhundert zurück. Urquhart Castle wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut und spielte eine Schlüsselrolle in den schottischen Unabhängigkeitskriegen, heute eine Ruine, die an bester Lage am Loch Ness steht, um einen Blick auf Nessie zu erhaschen.
Machen Sie Halt am Ufer von Loch Ness und besuchen Sie Nessies Heimat. Vielleicht sehen Sie sogar einen berühmten Nessie-Jäger.
1634 fertiggestellt als Begräbnisstätte für die Häuptlinge des Clan Fraser of Lovat, die aufgehört hatten, Beauly Abbey als Begräbnisstätte zu nutzen. Hier werden wir Simon 'dem Fuchs' Fraser einen Besuch abstatten... oder werden wir???
Beauly Priory ist die berühmteste historische Stätte – ein zerstörtes Kloster aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Besuchen Sie Claire, wo sie den Frasers 'Seher' trifft. Beauly ist die Heimat von Simon 'der Fuchs' Fraser
Wie wäre es mit einem Besuch im Hielan Coo's. Hier besuchen wir Heather, Katie-Morag und Jamie. Ein Besuch im Hofladen für alles, was mit Coo zu tun hat, ist ein Muss.

We had an amazing day in the Highlands with Lorraine from Avril's Travels. She made us feel welcome right away and tailored the trip to us. Our daughter, a big Outlander fan, loved visiting filming spots – especially the stone where Claire travels through time. We also stopped at Loch Ness to look for Nessie while Lorraine shared fascinating stories about Scottish history and legends. Her warmth, knowledge, and flexibility made the day relaxed, fun, and unforgettable. Highly recommend Avril’s Travels and Lorraine!
We had a wonderful day and tour of the Highlands with Avril. Our tour was about 7 hours long. Avril explained all about the beautiful sights she took us to and also about living in Scotland. We highly recommend this tour!

Avril of Avril's Travels took us on an excellent tour of the areas around Invergordon. We visited Cawdor Castle, the Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness, and visited the Highland Coos. We saw a LOT in one day! Arvil is a great guide and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. We chose this tour over the one offered on the Princess cruise ship and are so glad that we did!!

Avril is an amazing guide. She is personal, professional, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I was in Invergordon on the cruise ship in July. Avril picked me up from the ship and brought me back on time. Since no one but me had booked the trip, I was alone with Avril. It was a wonderful day. together we visited Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and Clava Cairns. Finally there was time to visit a small farm. Avril told many interesting things about history and the present, in a humorous way. I also got to meet her beautiful daughter. Overall, one of the most beautiful shore excursions on this tour.
