Unsere dreistündige Tour mit einem lizenzierten Führer durch Schindlers Fabrik und das ehemalige jüdische Ghettogelände bietet eine hervorragende Gelegenheit, die Geschichte des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Krakau zu entdecken. Die Tour beginnt mit einem Besuch der Schindler-Fabrik, dem meistbesuchten Museum in Krakau. Beim Besuch der Dauerausstellung werden wir umfassend mit der Geschichte der deutschen Besetzung Krakaus während des Krieges vertraut gemacht. Die Ausstellung bringt uns auf den neuesten Stand des Schicksals von Polen, Deutschen und Juden im besetzten Krakau – vom Kriegsausbruch bis zur fragwürdigen „Befreiung“ der Stadt durch die Rote Armee im Januar 1945. Ausgestattet mit den im Museum erworbenen Kenntnissen machen wir uns auf den Weg in das ehemalige Ghetto. Die im Museum besprochenen Orte und historischen Ereignisse werden von unserem Guide in der authentischen Umgebung gezeigt, in der sie stattgefunden haben. Der Besuch der „Emalia“-Fabrik und des Ghettos in einer Tour ermöglicht es Ihnen, das komplizierte Schicksal Krakaus und seiner Bewohner während des Zweiten Weltkriegs vollständig zu erfassen und zu verstehen.

My son and I did this while visiting Krakow and it was AMAZING! Aga was a fantastic guide and the tour was one of our highlights of our trip. TIP-- do this on the front end of your visit to Krakow, so you can understand the occupation of Krakow by the Nazis while you are in the city. Also, you must watch the movie Schindler's List before you come to Krakow and before taking this tour.

Super interesting and absolutely worth seeing with a guide—especially with Thomas! The museum focuses on the days leading up to and following the Occupation of Poland. The exhibit is highly interactive, with well-organized artifacts and photographs from the period. Our guide Thomas masterfully brought those days to life through his storytelling—he contextualized the entire era and was truly superb! The museum can be visited independently, but it’s nothing compared to the guided tour with Best Krakow Walks—highly recommended!
