If you are visiting Cancun, you absolutely must book this food walking tour! My husband and I took this tour, and we cannot wait to do it all over again the next time we visit. An Amazing 5-Star Guide Cristobal was our guide, and he was nothing short of amazing—five stars all around! From the very start, he was incredibly engaging, warm, and enthusiastic. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, which made the entire walk so much fun. He taught us so much about the rich history and traditions of Mexican food, giving us a whole new appreciation for the cuisine.

We had the best time on this foodie tour with Cristobal. He was an exceptional tour guide that provided so much education of the geography of Mexico and where the food we ate originated from. He also taught us so much about the people who made the food that we ate. We tried 5 different types of authentic food in Puerto Morelos and one being the market where we ate fruits of lychee, guava, papaya, mamey, mangoes and multiple types of oranges. We would do this tour again. Chris was such a joy to experience the Mexican culture with!

Hola from the Greater Cancun area. Yesterday, I did a walking lunch tour in the town of Puerto Morales. I had a great time. First off, I was the only participant - just me and Cristóbal, my excellent guide (guía excelente). His English and his pre-tour communications were great; we were immediately comfortable with each other. We made five stops: Breakfast Tacos (which seemed like an anytime taco to me), Quesadillas (we saw Sra. Margarita make the Tortillas right then), Grilled Chicken (we tore the tasty chicken apart and made Tacos lol), a Fruit Market (Cristóbal hand picked 6 or 7 different fruits, cut 'em up, and we devoured them), and last, a Seafood restaurant, where we had Garlic Shrimp Empanadas and two types of Ceviche (very different from what I am used to in Peru). The uber to and from my hotel was about US$10 each way, and the meeting point was easy to find. Everything was within a 5-block radius, so not much walking tequired. This was a fun afternoon and I recommend either the Lunch or Dinner tour from Riviera Maya Food Tours 100%.

Fabulous experience! We were a family of 4, boys ages 14 and 16. Everyone loved it, we learned so much, the food was delicious, and Cristobal made it so fun and easy! Would highly recommend

My boyfriend and I just finished a wonderful tour with Cristobal. The food was fantastic, and Cristobal was such a great guide. The conversation was so easy, we felt like we were dining with a friend and certainly not someone we’d just met today! We loved having him show us all his favorite restaurants in his neighborhood. The al pastor tacos and pork and nopales quesadilla are not to be missed! You can’t go wrong spending your evening with Cristobal

We loved the food tour! There were four stops and all were fantastic! Cristobal was entertaining, mixing in history and conversation as we walked between stops and while seated at our table. Be prepared for some walking. Maybe a mile or more total so it isn’t too bad and broken We did the dinner and it took about 2.5 hours. We will highly recommend to anyone going to Puerto Morelos.

A wonderful morning with Cristobal who treated us to the history of the area and an amazing food experience from local families and eateries. It was a “do not miss” for me.
