This tour was such a great experience! It felt incredibly personal, and our guide, Rodrigo, made a genuine effort to get to know everyone in the group. He was patient with us as we walked around, answered all of our questions, made us laugh, and even learned many of our names. He also packed an impressive amount of history into the time we had together without ever making the tour feel rushed. Rodrigo made us feel comfortable exploring an area we had never visited before. He gave us clear directions about where to go, how to interact respectfully with local vendors, and even what we could and couldn't touch at the archaeological sites. His knowledge of Mayan history was incredible, and he made it even more meaningful by sharing some of his own family history and his experience growing up near the archaeological site. Thomas, our other guide, was equally knowledgeable and a wonderful host at the village we visited. He gave us a fascinating explanation of the Mayan calendar and how the Maya recorded dates and history. Both Rodrigo and Thomas were completely bilingual, which made the entire experience easy and accessible for everyone. A huge thank you also goes to Emmanuel, our amazing driver! He kept our belongings safe and secure while we explored the archaeological sites and Chichén Itzá, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day without worrying about anything. What I appreciated most was that this wasn't simply sightseeing—it was a lesson in Mayan history, culture, and the strength and sophistication of the Mayan people before colonization. The guides brought that history to life in a way that felt respectful, engaging, and personal. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who loves history and wants an experience that feels more like spending the day with a personal guide than being part of a large tour group. Rodrigo even helped us find the best camera angles so we could leave with some amazing photos and memories! One helpful reminder: this is a group tour with pickups and drop-offs at multiple hotels, so bring a little patience and plan accordingly. They aren’t just picking up your group—guests are collected from several resorts along the route and dropped off in order at the end of the day. It takes a little extra time, but that’s simply part of the logistics of a shared tour and didn’t take away from our experience at all. Great day out, visited Chichen Itza, a Cenote and Valladolid. The guides Juan and Paul were very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we didn't miss anything.
We had a wonderful time with our tour guide & driver, Manuel and David did an excellent job throughout the whole trip, I would rebook with them given the chance, great people. The cenote was a great experience, as well as Chichen Itza. As for the tequila tasting, the best flavor were Coco & Cafe must try!
We had a wonderful experience on the Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid Tour with Amigo Tours! The entire day was great, but what truly made the experience special was our tour guide, Alberto. Alberto was absolutely amazing! He shared so much information, history, and so many interesting stories throughout the tour. You can really tell that he is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He didn’t just give us facts — he brought the history and culture to life and made everything much more interesting and memorable. Chichen Itza was incredible, and having Alberto explain the history and stories behind what we were seeing made the experience even better. Thank you, Alberto, for making our day so special! Everything was amazing from start to end! On site we event get caught by the Rain but ours guide Pastor and Kevin defeat the mother nature to make our tour memorable. Excellent knowledge on the history. Highly recommand! Ask for Kevin & Pastor🎖. ❤️❤️

Sexy Marcella and Ramiro were excellent hosts. It was a very long day but a good day. Lunch was so tasty. If I would have known, it’s better to catch Uber and meet them and drop off at their pick up point around 9.30am. When you request pick up from the hotel, it takes extra 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night time to pick and drop everyone off. Our long day was from 7.15am-10.15pm. Instead it could have been 9.30am-8.30pm. Rest all good. No issues.
Amigo Tours were amazing. Victor, Omer and Jesus. The guides knowledge was fantastic. Chichen Itza…. You have to go. Swimming in the Cenote was incredible and welcome relief from the sun!! The all inclusive Mexican lunch was lovely. A fab day out! You just have to be prepped for the hours and hours and hotel to hotel pick up and drop off. We were picked up at 4:55am and dropped off at 7:30pm. But it’s worth it. Take sunscreen, snacks, drinks and a towel. The coach was a winner as well, aircon and free WiFi! Thank you Amigo Tours.
Juam, Manuel and Saul rock!! Juam and Manuel are both great, knowledgeable and fantastic jokes. Saul is a great driver. Together they made sure the roadtrip was fun, safe and enjoyable.
My father left a bad review on your feedback form but he just doesn’t know how to make the most of an experience so I want to give you guys my 5 star rating. My brother and I had a great time with Manuel and Juam as our guides and Saul as our driver. Both guides were very funny and very knowledgeable. I will warn that there’s a lot of talking on the bus ride there (not back though), but hey, you booked a tour for a reason! They were also smart and avoided the crowd by having us go to Chichen Itza last. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we would book again!
