We loved this tour, Salvador took care of everything and also took a lot of pictures for us all the time, so that we could just enjoy our time in Yucatan without thinking about our phones and cameras!

My wife, eldest daughter and myself had a really enjoyable 4-day tour around the Yucatan. I would really recommend taking a multi-day tour to experience the sights and culture of the region as it reduces the time spent travelling in and out each day and provides the opportunity to stay in some nice cities. Specifically I can recommend a private tour with Best Maya Tours as our guide Salvador was very professional and friendly. Every site we visited was very interesting and the hotels we stayed in were very good. There was a nice mixture on the itinerary – Myan ruins, Wildlife , Cenote, Hacienda, etc. – that gave a great overview of the culture and heritage of the region. Having Salvador as a personal guide to introduce us to all the sites and use his extensive knowledge to explain things was really helpful. Thanks Salvador.

Our trip to Yucatán was made even more special thanks to Salvator from Best Maya Tour, who joined us for a few days. He was patient and kind with our kids, and his explanations were always interesting and easy to follow. Such a beautiful experience that we’ll always remember! The kids were so sad to say goodbye when we parted ways to spend a few relaxing days by the sea in Playa del Carmen. We were two families—4 adults and 4 kids—and Salvator took us around in his van to visit Tulum, Chichén Itzá, Uxmal, Mérida, Río Lagartos, Las Coloradas, Valladolid, and many amazing cenotes where we had unforgettable swims. We saw iguanas, crocodiles, flamingos, and visited a chocolate museum! So many wonderful memories. We always felt safe and really enjoyed the nice hotels he had booked for us. Totally recommended—he was super flexible and always made sure everyone was happy and comfortable!

We spent 4 days with Salvador. He picked us up at our hotel in Cancun and we left for four entire days in Yucatan. He took care of everything and we only had to enjoy the tour and the fantastic professionalism of our guide while visiting ruins, cenote, hacienda or even wildlife. Salvador is a very smart and educated man who can have deep conversation and even deeper knowledge on many subjects. We could have never found someone more reliable, professional and passionate by his job. The places we have been to were superbs, the hotels selected by Salvodore were luxurious but affordable and authentics. After 4 days he drove us to our resort for the second part of our holidays. We recently took Best Maya Tour's Private Yucatan Discovery Tour and it surpassed our expectations. The guide was excellent, striking the perfect balance between being informative and giving us personal space. The hotels were of good quality and conveniently located. We felt safe throughout the trip. Valladolid was our favorite city, while Merida impressed us with its size and history. Ek' Balam, a less crowded site, allowed us to climb the buildings.
