Yehliu ist ein Kap an Taiwans Nordküste, das vor allem für den Yehliu Geopark bekannt ist, wo Meereserosion Waben- und Pilzfelsen wie den legendären Königinkopf und Drachenkopf geformt hat. Die Gegend ist meist flach, bietet aber wenig Schatten, daher ist Sonnenschutz im Sommer zu empfehlen.
Der Shifen-Wasserfall ist Taiwans berühmteste Kaskade, die vom Keelung-Fluss gespeist wird und etwa 20 Meter hoch und 40 Meter breit ist. Die Aussichtsplattform erreichen Sie in etwa 30 Gehminuten, teilweise schattig und über eine Hängebrücke.
Diese alte Straße befindet sich direkt neben dem Bahnhof Shifen im Stadtteil Pingxi, wo eine aktive Eisenbahnlinie direkt durch den Markt verläuft. Besucher werfen Himmelslaternen auf die Gleise und pausieren, wenn ein Zug vorbeifährt.
Fühlen Sie sich in diese ehemalige Goldgräberstadt versetzt – einst von den Japanern erbaut und heute ein Labyrinth aus geschichtsträchtigen Gassen und Gassen. Die meisten der charmanten Straßen sind Treppen, gesäumt von Imbissständen und Teehäusern, und sie können ziemlich voll werden. (Tipp: Wenn Sie Jiufen bei Sonnenuntergang oder Dämmerung erleben möchten, buchen Sie eine Abfahrt nach 11:00 Uhr, so dass Jiufen die Endstation ist und Sie Zeit haben, den Sonnenuntergang und das Abendlicht zu genießen.)

Our tour was outstanding with Hicks Wang. He was very informative at each stop with excellent suggestions on where to take photos, history of sites, and English was outstanding. We highly recommend him and most definitely take another tour with him.
Professional and knowledgeable driver-guide. Luxurious /spacious private van for our group of 5. General itinerary helpful but very flexible with customization requests. Great value and good pace for full day tour and the amount of things we packed in. Finally I had left some souvenirs in the car - I didn’t even realize but guide delivered it back to hotel front desk.
Jeffrey is terrific!!! He speaks Engllish well, takes lots of pictures to capture the beauty of every location, was very informative…. and he was a lovely person to spend the day with! Any stay in Tawain is not complete without this tour.
This was a day better than we expected. Roger was our driver/guide and very helpful and informative. This tour gave us a real chance to see some of the countryside and its huge variety of hills, sea and vegetation. The lantern creation was more fun than we expected. Start this trip by 8am to avoid the crowds. Roger knows how to keep you away from the tourist crowds. Excellent day

Wonderful day traveling to the Geopark, coastline, waterfalls and cool little old town, Shiflen - all not too far from Taipei! We also painted a lantern to release into the air- so fun! Our guide, Jacky was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and knew all of the great places to pose for pictures! The car was very comfortable and he had it stocked with water bottles. Bring cash for the little towns, the museum gift shops take credit cards. You may want to use an umbrella as you walk around - the sun was intense! Ask for Jacky - you won’t be disappointed!

Our guide was friendly, competent, and enthusiastic. However, she communicated only the basic information about the locations we went to. We were hoping for more history, background, and especially stories, of which there were very few. She also was a bit too enthusiastic about getting us to buy souvenirs.
